I found this hotel after searching many. It was for our anniversary/my birthday weekend. There was hardly any good deals in the area that weekend and I had just about given up hope finding one. We have never been to Sedona before and had no idea where a good location was, I literally threw a dart and it landed here. I noticed the name had been changed and the rooms updated, so I decided to give it a chance. I booked through expedia for a King Trailside room. Well Expedia did not buy any of these rooms so I got an email telling me that this room was not available and Expedia should not have booked it. I would be given a room with no view and two queen beds. I emailed back just devastated because of this and was ready to cancel the whole thing. I emailed the hotel directly and

I Lucked out on a road trip to this outstanding hotel in the desert!!! The views of Sedona were breathtaking from the upstairs balcony i had. The hotel is undergoing upgrades so it was not crowded with tourists and it was off season so the rates were less expensive than most quality inn suite hotel chains you pass while on a road trip. The room was like having a very nice bedroom in an executive suite. So peaceful and everything you could want in a room ( Refrigerator iron big screen cable internet etc.,,, ) The pool was warm with plenty of nice towels, I worked out in the gym twice a day just because it was so inviting. this all being said it is the people who make the difference in any situation. Julia was so accommodating with each and every need, question or

This hotel was nice, however much of the areas outside of my room were in the process of renovations. They did upgrade my room to one with a king bed the room I reserved was in the space of renovations. The new room was large and comfortable. i had an issue with the pullout desk falling apart. They simply took the piece out of the room and did not repair. I found it odd that they didn't offer any discount or perk due to the issue. The breakfast space was very small, tight, and often did not have enough seating for all. I would return, but I would wait until all renovation and construction are complete.

This property is near restaurants and shops while being surrounded by beautiful views of mountains. The staffers are very professional and nice and the room is spacious. Although the property has been going through a major remodeling, the furniture and counter-top in our room look out-dated. The breakfast room is small for the size of the hotel and can be very crowded during certain hours. The housekeeping may need to be improved with a higher standard. Overall, this property is a reasonable place for staying one night or two.
