Setting is beautiful. However our room was quite dated - the bathroom floor was 2 different style tiles (and not in a artsy way) the grout was dirty or missing. Stained glass window in bath area was old and worn - the caulking missing and frame completely worn/water stained. There may have been an attempt to update the living area but with the lowest quality of materials - very cheap vinyl flooring and ceramic tile around fireplace. we only had 3 hours of wifi during our 2 night stay. Breakfast was OK. This appears to be more of a retreat for people overcoming some life's problems - not really a lodging or hotel. Did not see much of any staff to provide visitor assistance. Tried to provide feedback via Lodge's link for feedback but it is not functional. I feel it was quite overpriced for the accommodations and service. Again the setting is beautiful and could really be a stunning place with a little more updating and servicing of lodge guests

Upon signing up with SWR, please pay attention to the emails and videos prior to arriving. It will ease your way in fully understanding the treatments, modalities, and activities offered here. SWR also includes yoga, cooking classes, meditation, Infrared Sauna, stationary bike, trampoline, and a meditation wheel vortex included on the property to assist in the complete wellness program. Meals and juices are phenomenal here. All plant based meals , 3 meals a day were surprisingly tasty. SWR is conveniently walking distance to Walgreens and Natural Grocers for items that may have been forgotten. Siuwai Isabella, and Dr Ryan are valuable regarding areas to visit and “must sees.” They are all exceptionally warm and friendly visiting the guests. All the staff including Lupe and Brenda housekeepers are attentive to detail, laundry and cleaning. Chefs Kim and Jennifer are attentive to food allergies, likes and dislikes and cook meals. Staff are multi talented as Beautiful! Thank you so much for the opportunity to have been a guest here.

BE VERY CAREFUL when booking your stay at the Sedona Wellness Retreat. This place has a TON of toxic mold and they will LIE TO YOU about it. I called in advance of my stay and asked for confirmation that the place was tested for mold and they said it was tested and was clean. I was dubious when I arrived since it seemed rather dirty and beat up, but they promised it was clean and free of mold. After a month I felt so much sicker, so I tested my room and it was off the charts with toxic mold. Since then I've spoken to a number of other people who also got sick while there, and have also complained about mold. Management gave me a runaround and refused to give me any refund. They said they did their own mold test and it came back perfectly clean, but they refused to give me details about it, I have no way to confirm that it was done at all, or was done correctly, and tere's noo way it was clean compared to the test I myself did. After hearing from others how shady the management is in other ways, I don't trust their word AT ALL. It strikes me as egregiously irresponsible for a wellness retreat to have such a bad problem with toxic mold. Their patients are sick, often immuno-compromised, sometimes with cancer, and they are literally poisoning their staff and their guests/patients. The medical staff was lovely, the food was decent, the scenery was breathtaking, and grounds were nice, the location was great. Too bad they poisoned me and refused to take any responsibility for it. I urge extreme caution when considering whether to stay at this place, especially if you have any health problems.

I came to the Sedona Wellness Retreat to do an extended water fast for healing, based on the Biblical principles of the power of prayer and fasting. I had just been diagnosed with stage 4 metastatic breast cancer, and the medical doctors didn't offer much hope for recovery. With the help and encouragement from EVERYONE here, I was able to fast for 20 days! The medical staff carefully monitored my bloodwork, urine, vitals, etc. throughout my entire stay, and checked in with me twice a day. During the first couple of weeks of the fast, the pain in my chest was often over 10 on a 1-10 pain scale. By the end of the fast, it was typically at 1-3 on the pain scale! The people here are wonderful--so very caring and compassionate, willing to help me with anything I needed during my stay! Once I started feeling better, I was able to spend more time with the other guests. What a blessing! This was exactly the place that God wanted me to come and find healing and rest.

First of all, it’s during the plandemic so I understand all the precautions however... Not one employee including the chef was wearing a mask. There are signs everywhere stating mask are required. Room. We stayed in the Red Rock Suite, visually unappealing based on the exploding palette of colors; nothing matched. Bed. 4” foam topper made it way to soft to sleep and the head board banged the wall every time you’d roll over. Imagine what happened during romantic times. Floor. Painted tile so it easily comes off and stuck to your feet and then of course gets in the bed. Rugs were very dated and stained. Location. The rooms location is right next to the office so every time you open your door, the employees are sitting or standing right there. Every window including the four in the bathroom, are facing a common area. Hot tub. The description leads you to believe the hot tub is private. There is zero privacy and it’s approximately 20’ out of the bathroom door in a common area. It is a wellness retreat and not at all a “romantic getaway”!
