Second time to Sadona beautiful country a little touristy April maybe a better time to go parking was crowded restaurants had long waits depending on the times. Coffee pot restaurant has great food and good prices for breakfast. Our first morning was mothers day it had over 1 hrs wait.
Please be aware that there are no true amenities worth utilizing on the property. The pool and jacuzzi are not inviting. No service on the property and restaurants and gym are closed for construction.
Hotel rooms were very nice and clean . Grounds were kept up, lots of remodeling going on. Resort fee of $32 is just a profit maker as this is not a high end resort. Restaurant and bar closed , but trying to operate out of conference room. Bartender was very nice as the people working there.
We ask for supplies due to no maid service.Staff was slow to bring items or did not bring at all. Some staff members were rude and not attentive. The person I booked our business meeting with never checked in with me. Several guest in our group had issues with the rooms or it was the incorrect room type. The Food and Beverage Manager was by far the nicest person on property. If the rest of the staff were as attentive and kind as him it would have been a better experience.
Start with the good. Location is really good, outside the crazy downtown and close to some of the good trailheads. The rooms were pretty good too. Now the bad. No warning that they are undergoing major renovations. Drilling during the day that was loud and incessant. The nice restaurant was closed in its normal spot. They reopened in a boring looking room on the second floor. You can order take out and eat on the rooftop area of third floor outside which is pleasant in the evening. I was shocked by the rudeness of one of the employees who totally mismanaged a need for them to move us because we had two separate reservations. Other employees were courteous and fine. Without the renovation, thumbs up With the construction going on B-
