Beware and DO NOT book here. This place is a scam, at best a motel. First, they only told us about the heavy renovations that are going on in the building three days before our booking, so we could not cancel which was before seven days. Nothing was working here when we got here ( yoga, spa nothing!). Second, we booked three rooms with two beds. They only gave us two and the third was king! When we complained they made us move in the middle of the night. Third, they never serviced our room even when we asked for it. And when we called why it has not happened, the housekeeping said they HAVE serviced the room. I mean really? This is place is the most I competent place run by people who lack basic customer service . Avoid it like a bubonic plague!

I've stayed at questionable places lately so that colors this review. But I'll still start by saying Sedona Rouge exceeded all my expectations, considering the construction going on during my stay. The wi-fi was the fastest I've had in a hotel room so that by itself was impressive. It felt nice and new and clean. I didn't feel like I needed to sanitize all the surfaces or walk around with something on my feet the whole time. The bed was comfortable. The layout of the room made intuitive sense for my morning and evening routines with all my stuff. It felt pretty effortless. I got a corner so I had two big windows to let light in. I was near the temporary front lobby. All I really did there was use the room, so I can't comment on anything else. But the members of the front office staff were very friendly. There's a lot I still want to do in Sedona, so when I go back I would love to stay at Sedona Rouge again, in its fully renovated state.

We've had massages here years ago and decided this time we'd stay in their resort. Yes I called it a resort because that is what we thought it was. It is a very nice hotel. Clean and comfortable. Even though we booked the wrong dates, we had no problem getting accommodations on the spot.

The place has mostly positive reviews but I am not sure how people can ignore the obvious bug and roach infestation which is a big problem of this hotel! We wanted to enjoy the resort however we couldn't even make it to our room due to roaches literally everywhere on the property grounds including stairs leading to the reception area and in the hotel walkway hallways leading from the elevator to the rooms. I have never seen this kind of infestation before in my life! I don't know if this problem is visible during the day since we arrived late in the evening. But it is definitely there at night. As per the hotel staff, the roaches "own it" there, especially during mansoon season. When we asked if the roaches get into the rooms, the staff member hesitated to answer. However, we didn't even make it to the room because we couldn't get past the hallway full of roaches! This property needs pest control ASAP and overall does not look like a 4 star hotel or resort. We left and had to look for another accommodation elsewhere in the middle of the night. The hotel didn't even bother to issue any apology or a refund. All I got was a cancelation email which stated that no refund would be given since I hadn't cancel 48 hrs prior. Shame on this hotel and its unsanitary conditions! My child was so scared and told me that the whole experience was like a nightmare or a horror movie. I would give this place zero ratings if I could...

We came to Sedona for a nice vacation and chose to stay in this hotel They are renovating it so the restaurant is not open and certain issues are going on There is a blonde lady at the front desk who’s very unhelpful. She doesn’t care to offer service to the guests but prefers to spend her time doing her own things. Just be aware of the delays in getting service. Also, they will kit make the rooms unless specifically requssted
