The food was excellent and the service was outstanding. Joey was super friendly, made great recommendations, and went above and beyond to make our visit a great one! I highly recommend this location for your next stay in Scottsdale.
I was in town for an appointment from South Mississippi (alone). This hotel is in a safe and nice area, I felt safe in the hotel, the staff was awesome... especially Joey in the Bistro! She made me laugh and told me a little about the area and casinos. She was a pleasure to talk to and made my stay much better! I feel like I made a friend in Arizona!
I travel Marriott hotels for business 80% of my month. I usually try and stay at the Courtyards. The main reason is because the rooms are very clean, most of the time they have been updated and I appreciate that. One of my top reasons is because I LOVE their green goddess dressing at the Bistro! This trip really set high standards! Because I travel to Phoenix often and probably will NOW always stay here. Joey & Sarah at the Bistro truly were amazing! Such attention to detail with my food past 3 nights and Joey made me feel right at home. Traveling alone for work you look for this type of caring personality. You can tell she loves her job and she truly loves her customers! Thank you for making my lonely business travel not so lonely!! I'll be back!!
I needed a reasonably priced place to stay for 5 or 6 nights and chose the Marriott Courtyard Salt River in Scottsdale, Arizona. I was so pleased! The staff, particularly, at the Bistro were very friendly and always greeted me with smiles. I wasn't expecting anything too great in the way of food for a "Bistro" but was I ever surprised! I ate from the Bistro every day :). Everything was top-notch restaurant quality. My compliments to the chefs! The salmon I ordered for dinner was reasonably priced, cooked to perfection, and as good as I've ordered anywhere. The hotel had all the amenities I could want including Starbucks as part of the Bistro. I am very familiar with Scottsdale, and this hotel is conveniently located off the 101 highway with Old Town Scottsdale, Fashion Square, and the Talking Stick entertainment district just a few miles in either direction. The rooms were quiet and very clean (in-room coffee maker, small fridge, microwave, large smart TV, and, upon request, even special mattress toppers to make your bed softer or harder to your preference. I stayed for 5 nights and can't think of anything I else I needed during my stay which included happy hour from 5-7 every night. The best part, though, was the smiles and attentiveness I received from the staff. I specially want to thank Joey, Beth, from the Bistro, Chefs Miguel, Gonzalo, Sarah & Wes, and Estefania who sets up activities for the guests. If I missed anyone's name, let be known that everyone I came in contact was great! It's obvious that this is a great place for them to work which says a lot these days. Please consider this hotel for your next stay in Scottsdale!…
Great rooms and a fantastic rate. The staff are extremely welcoming and my room was very comfortable. Convenient to many destinations and great immensities on site. Don’t mis out on Joey’s cocktails at the Bistro!
My husband and I were traveling for work and had a great experience at this hotel! The rooms were clean, spacious, and had everything you would need! The highlight was Joey who works in the restaurant/bar. I worked from the lobby for almost 12 hours and she was so great. She checked in on me, brought me lots of ice water, and made sure I didn't miss the happy hour specials! She even offered me a phone charger to use! She went above and beyond...I was so comfortable working there and probably stayed much longer than I should have. She provided great conversation and was such a pleasure. I will be back and I will be looking for her! Thanks Joey!
This hotel is amazing. The staff is so personable and always willing to help with a smile. I’ve had the pleasure of spending a week here and nothing but the best of care from front desk clerk Vee, bar/ restaurant staff Joey, Sarah, and Gretchen. This hotel is so clean and fresh and is maintained by house keeping staff daily. Not short staffed that I can tell and the employees all greeted us with a smile…. This is a best kept secret in Scottsdale that’s conveniently located to activities, shopping, and more.. a must stay place if your in the area. V Sharp 6/8/22
Last week I had to be in SD for a medical procedure. This Courtyard was very nice. The lobby has a wonderful, very large photo, of five Native American women their woven bowls (since it's of Res Property). It was stunning. The staff was excellent from the front desk check in, to allowing me to check in an hour early, to the delightful Joey at the lobby restaurant (and their chef). All were wonderful, but we really, really enjoyed talking with Joey. She is so positive and upbeat, and ready to make your dining experience (coffee to dinner) fun, and the salmon was very nice. We would stay there again and tell our friends.
Received the best service from the bistro, specially from Beth and chef Gonzalo. The food was tasty and they were super accommodating. The front staff was also very nice. The room was clean and perfect for a quick stay.
This place has the best staff right down to house keeping. I came in to visit for an extended stay and the management and staff was very helpful and always polite. I wanted to give special recognition to Joey and Beth that works in the Bistro they always greet me with a smile and rember what I ordered from two days before. To the cook Miguel two thumbs up.
