Friendly professional staff who were always on hand to help out with anything you needed. Safe and comfortable Fales and a great range of accomodation. The food was the best I had on the islandand the first time I had salad. In most fale based...More
An unexpected evening at Va i Moana started with an Umu demonstration from Natu, and the effervescent staff all performed a great FiaFia night. The MC had his debut this night ,and had so much energy and fun in his role. The String Band was fabulous,...More
we came here after our nice stay in Amanaki hotel on Upulu island. The hotel is remote, so I wouldn't recommend it to single travellers that would love to meet new people. There is basically nothing else to do than swim, snorkel, kayak or paddle...More

Nice to visit the more remote part of Samoa
We had a good visit here with the extended family
Could have been improved with small things such a room servicing, working safes in room etc

I'd take your own wine if you can. They had only cask wine when we stayed. Yuck! The local beer is good and relatively cheap. They make an awesome pinà colada as the coconut cream and pineapple are fresh. The other cocktails were not as nice as they use artificial syrup flavourings. Over all I'd say our bar tab was pretty cheap. We bought beer at the local stores for our fale as well. The young coconuts are lovely and refreshing too. As someone else said you need to drink bottled water which is about $SD6 from memory for a large bottle. We asked for a jug for our room so we could boil our own and refill the bottles. They were happy to oblige.
