We first visited in July and loved it so much - this time - we brought 6 of our friends with us. Glenn and Berny arranged a fantastic weekend which included airport transfers, spa treatments, restaurant trips and a fantastic cliff top walk. This really is a home from home for us we can't wait to visit again!

This is a special place that we were lucky to find. A true escape into the Alentejo country side. The service, hospitality, delicious dinners,superb breakfast galore. Fresh fruits,home baked bread,perfectliy cooked scrambed eggs and fresh chives, fresh juice. Ahh i could just go on. What a pleasure. Stayed for three days in one of the bungalows on stilts. It was a breath taking view from sunrise to watching stars at night, we saw three falling stars during our stay. This retreat is a hidden gem that we were lucky enough to experience in our short stay. True, genuine hospitality at its best. Berny and Glen I take my hat off to you both and we will be back..... Berny and Glen made us both feel so at home, we were sad to leave this once in a life time treat.( we will be back) Highly reccomend this place to stay if you are looking for peace tranquility and total relaxation. We had such a lovely relaxed time here, I don’t think I’ve ever felt so sad leaving a hotel in my life. Under hospitality in the dictionary it should just say Berny and Glenn. They were amazing hosts, so thoughtful and happy to help. It really feels luxurious and welcoming at the same time. The food was out of this world and the wine selection was great. The hotel is also in the most amazing region with lots of incredible scenery and beaches on your doorstep. I cannot recommend a stay here highly enough. We stayed in one of the tree houses and it was really fantastic. Sitting on the balcony watching the stars drinking a wee beer...happy days.

My wife and I stayed in Paraíso Escondido for 2 weeks and really found the relaxing atmosphere we were looking for. Berny and Glenn are excellent and caring hosts, who not only offer a top service in the restaurant, but also give useful tips on places to see in the West-Alentejo area. But if you do not want to go anywhere, you can have a great day at the poolside and terrace. Our room was excellent: spacious, plenty of wardrobe space and a big bathtub + shower. The chef prepares a great diner, and the quality of the local products he uses is excellent. The Alentejo wines Glenn proposes are absolutely delicious!!

Thanks for this wonderful stay at your stunning house. We really enjoyed the food, the chats and the honest and slowlife hospitality.
