Photos do not do this venue justice. It is beyond what the lens can capture, a feast for the eye and an oasis for the soul. A photographer’s dream. Brian & Corene have create an idyllic setting for weddings. A “chapel” in a forest-like setting, a reception hall that is inviting nature inside with huge windows and accommodation for the whole family and friends. Make a weekend of your wedding celebrations. You will not regret it.

Excellent customer service. It's kid-friendly and a great place to get away from the hustle and bustle of city life. The rooms are beautiful and well-equipped for a long stay. A safe play area for children and a clean pool. I had a fantastic 6 nights there. Corine made our stay unforgettable. Always ready to assist. Thank you, Corine; I'll be back soon.

We enjoyed every minute in this lovely scenery. Absolutely top of the range service with a lovely touch of family-like hospitality. A great place for meetings, weddings, retreats, or just a getaway. Lovely food on request. We enjoyed everything!

We were made to feel most welcome and enjoyed a very comfortable, peaceful stay in a well equipped cottage with lovely views and walks. The setting was ideal for a getaway and there are scenic drives to the surrounding towns (Rawsonville, Worcester, Villiersdorp, Robertson and Bonnievale) which are all fairly close. Wine estates, nurseries, restaurants, art galleries, Karoo Botanical Gardens, Worcester Open Air Museum, KWV and Olof Bergh brandy cellars as well as the Institute for the Blind Shop are a few of the local attractions. Tourist information is available at the lodge. The owner is knowledgeable about the area and helpful with advice on what to see and do.

We stayed in one of the honeymoon huts and enjoyed the shower for two and the lovely little kitchen which was well equipped. The hosts are very hospitable and it was wonderful to go slower in this special place surrounded by mountains. The happy crowing of a cockerel early morning as you stick your head out of your door was the cherry on top of a real farm weekend away.

The spot is not bad and is just outside Worcester. It has pleasant and quiet surrounds. The room decor though was dated and sported kitsch red linen. The cottage layout is not very practical with the fridge at the floor of the bed which makes a noise. It looks quaint from the outside but is disappointing actually staying in there. Furthermore every day during December was over 42 degrees C which is crazy hot. So it was too hot.

We stayed 5 nights but had originally booked 6 nights a month prior to arrival - and then wanted to leave but the hostess simply told us we cannot leave when we asked. In hind site I should have realized that no one can make you stay another night if you don't want to. But we were forced to pay for that 6th night which we didn't want. She calls it a Christian lodge and retreat place - but that behavior was not very Christian I felt - in fact it was a bit greedy.

It is so silent here and so uplifting. Our second stay already and we will be back in Jan 2016. The Hosts are just such awesome people and the breakfast is pure joy. If you want to get away from the city, this is the place to be. Plenty of board games makes for good fun and laughter and restores family communication. Driving around the valley is also so beautiful - we really have a beautiful country. Thanks Corine, Brian and family.

The Reed's Country Lodge is a beautiful place to visit. My boyfriend and I enjoyed every moment. The beautiful mountain views, lavender fields and fresh country air made our stay perfect! Will definitely visit the place again in the winter months.
