WELCOME TO SUMMERHILL GUEST FARM. A hidden gem in a valley of paradise. We provide personal, farm-style accommodation on a Self Catering or a Bed & Breakfast basis. No matter what pace of living you desire Summerhill Farm, tucked away and nestled in the mountain valley of Brandwacht, will give you peace, relaxation and an appreciation of nature tranquility and superlative mountain views. Summerhill makes a perfect getaway from the hustle and bustle of City Life. Being a working farm it is ideal for children who can help to feed animals and collect eggs. It is a wonderful location for the sports enthusiast a peaceful retreat for the tired and stressed. During spring and the extended summer months (September to April), dry hot days encourage outdoor activities such as water sports on the Breede River and Brandvlei and Kwaggaskloof dams. A well-chilled local wine is the order of the day! Autumn and winter offer sunny days and cool evenings and if you are lucky, you may see snow on the surrounding peaks.

We loved our stay at Summerfield. Bob and Wendy were superb hosts and Daisy was delightful. The room was lovely my only complaint would be that there was no washing up basin(as in washing cups etc) in the room, although I must stress the dishes were washed for us every day. Bob and Wendy your property is stunning and the setting is amazing. The 2 owlets in the tree outside our window was a added bonus. . Thanks for all the info you gave us on local places to see. We will be back Nigel and Ineke

The bedding was dirty. the extra duvets had no covers and stains. The kitchen was dirty. The aircon did not work. The shower head was glugged and water temperature was either to hot or to cold. water Will never stay or recommend the place to anyone.

You are definitely not reviewing Summerhill. You must have us confused with another Guest House. We pride ourselves on the exceptional guest rooms that we give our guests.

Summerhill Guest Farm is a gem not to miss near the town of Worcester if you are in the area for a visit or short stay. It is situated in the farm area of Brandwag and offers a peaceful and beautiful place to enjoy without the noise of never-ending traffic around. The chalets are very convenient and offer a good night`s sleep before you tackle the next day. The garden and swimming pool are most enjoyable and lovely extras to the stay.

This was a last-minute booking and I arrived quite late in the evening but was still welcomed warmly. My accommodation was amazing, comfortable and clean with everything that I needed. The fact that it was self-catering was right up my ally. The room/cottage was very private with the most amazing view of the surrounding mountains and vineyards. Everything worked including the wi-fi, TV etc.
