Aan De Doorns is a historic Cape Dutch farm homestead offering warm hospitality in a tranquil "farm-living" setting. The farmstead was built around 1860, the rooms are spacious, decorated with unique themed interiors and en-suite bath rooms. We have family rooms in three and four bed configurations. The fully equipped communal guest kitchen and braai area allow for semi-self-catering requirements. Dinners, packed lunches and or laundry facilities are available upon request. Full English or Continental breakfast is served in the ambiance of true heritage hospitality with preserves and bread from the locally community. In summer the terrace under vine and pool area are ideal for relaxation and during winter we gather around the Welcome Dover to toast the day's experiences in the Breede Valley.

We are B&B Owners in Camps Bay and this year we decided to take a break over Christmas. Aan De Doorns was recommended some time ago by the manager at Nuy wineries. We lunched at Nuy on Christmas Day and then took the short drive to the Guest House so to avoid driving back to Cape Town until the next day. We were welcomed by Marita and her 3 dogs, one of which accompanied us as we walked into the vine growing area in the late afternoon.
Feeling pecking by evening time Marita offered us the choice of a cooked dinner or a platter of food. Being Christmas fare we opted fror the cooked dinner. We ate in the dining room and had the pleasure of meeting and chatting to Marita's personal guests. Together with a few 'toots' a pleasant evening was had by all! A farmhouse-style breakfast was provided the next morning and it was all-too-soon to return to our own B&B.

What a spectacular weekend at Aan De Doorn. Even with the Rainy day, we had such a glorious time together. Chef H & Poppie were incredible hosts and went above and beyond the call. of duty to make every moment count - from exclusive breakfasts to arranging a delightful braai for us even with our smorgasbord of dietary requirements. We will without a doubt be back very soon and share the experience with all our friends.

A very personal lodge with a nice breakfast. The owners are lovely. Go to Vorcester, buy some take away from a restaurant and enjoy it in the garden with a glas of the south African wine. We got lot of ideas what to do and small very good wineries.

Etienne was an excellent host who looked after us well and gave us some very good advice on where to eat and which route to take to our next stop in Winelands. The property is 1850's and full of character. Breakfast was very good.

Very cozy and quiet place. Friendly and welcoming, if you are looking for a big and nice room with bathroom. I was with a friend but it's more for couple. It's not so far from stellenbosch and much cheaper

Had a fantastic night over with my partner and daughter. Everyone was very friendly and accommodating by packing us a breakfast when we had to leave at 5:30am the next morning.

Rooms were great and comfy and I loved that fact it felt homely with all the dogs and welcoming smiles.

The place has a big grey hound roaming the yard and this was not made mention off. The room was dirtyand dusty and too big for one person. The food was horrible, they could have given that to their grey hound. It was terrible staying there, I'm glad it was just for one night. If I had not arrived late I would have found me another place to sllep at.

On our trip through ZA we passed through the Winelands and stayed in Worcester before heading east. Arriving here we were greeted with a very warm and friendly smile. The hospitality is great and we were happy to have chosen this guest house. Dietrich is a wonderful person and gave us some good tips for the rest of our trip.
