It’s very well located if you want to stay in town. It’s just off the Main Street with all the bars and restaurants and has a quiet feel to it. We had two luxury rooms and one junior suite. The rooms all had lovely large bathrooms with built in Jacuzzis (needs some deep cleaning) and very very comfortable beds (I got the best sleep of my trip in one of those beds). The pros are the location, the price and the size of the rooms (they were quite sufficient). The cons were the lack of staff to help with the luggage up the stairs and the breakfast (which was average at best). But overall we had a lovely stay there. I would recommend it as a nice non fussy option for Stellenbosch. The other similar options in town all seem to be located in much noisier sections of the town so this is a definite plus for Eendracht.

We celebrated our 27th wedding anniversary on 16 January at Eendracht. Our first stay was in winter 2 years ago. The room again was spotless, the aircon was most welcome in the sweltering heat. My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed the cosy private pool. The setup of the rooms guarantees complete safety and privacy. Breakfast both hot and cold was to die! We cannot wait to stay there again! 😊😊😊

Greeted by a warm and cosy fire place and well informed reception, lovely and comfortable rooms, promised and delivered a wonderful and memorable stay. Strolling out into the bustling town and buzzing restaurants requires little effort because of the location of this neat and comfy gem.
An unhurried Breakfast in the warm and snug dining hall prepared you more than adequately for the day ahead… though on a cold, rainy day it will take some effort to leave this friendly, warm and cosy gem

Suppose you are looking for a place to immerse yourself in the real history and hospitality of South Africa; I would recommend you visit the award-winning Eendracht Hotel that is situated in Dorp Street, in the core of the oldest part of Stellenbosch.

This village hotel is within walking distance of more than 60 excellent restaurants and coffee shops, all the major museums, more than 6 art museums/galleries, theatres and sports grounds. It is also part of the Cape Country Route which offers you fascinating attractions, quality accommodation and memorable holidays.

Upon entering the foyer at Eendracht Hotel, you are welcomed by a gentle, unpretentious fusion of contemporary design and classic approach. I was incredibly impressed with how the reception staff followed every single COVID protocol from the moment they meet you.

Senobia – Eendracht Hotel’s restaurant is open for breakfast and lunch daily to all residents and the public. If you love traditional, wholesome South African food, as I do, then I would recommend you pop in for lunch.

After enjoying a delicious Homemade Roast Chicken and Mushroom pie with fresh salad and a glass of crisp white wine, I was taken back to my childhood when my mom used to make a similar meal for us on a Sunday afternoon. Senobia offers daily specials, seasonal food, and traditional South African dishes

Eendracht Hotel is my hotel of choice whenever I'm in Stellenbosch. Located on Dorp street less than 500 metres from all of the town's restaurants, bars and historical attractions. Whether you're in town for a night or longer, the property has everything you need for a pleasant stay. What's more, you can reach a variety of wine farms for less than R100 on the popular e-hailing service apps. The rooms are well appointed and the pool is perfect for cooling off during the hot summer months. To top it off, the breakfast is hearty and delicious. Highly recommend.

This boutique hotel is really well situated just round the corner from the main street with all the restaurants, but it is still peaceful.
The staff were really helpful especially when my pre-booked taxi for the airport didn't turn up.
And I slept well in a comfortable bed
Whilst there is no dinner service I had a good breakfast

We had a little mini Kingswood College ladies reunion at this amazing hotel. We enjoyed lunch there - roast leg of lamb for R95 each followed by fantastic peppermint crisp tart and coffee for only R15. Julian, the manager was incredibly helpful and attentive. He suggested an excellent bottle of wine for the other two ladies in the party. Situated in Dorp Str, the hotel provides off road parking making your lunch completely relaxed.

Small hotel with big cozy rooms in an excellent location to explore the wineries of the region. The toilet was also big and there was no problem with power outages (common in SA) during our stay. I would stay there again.

We stayed at this cute boutique hotel for three nights. We are a family of four and booked two rooms, one being the “teen” room which is a room with a bunk bed and bathroom. It was a great set up for our family. The only complaint is that the teen room was quite stuffy because it did not have A/C.

There is a well maintained swimming pool and our family made use of it daily. There is parking out back, we were told that parking could be full but we never had any issues.

The staff were all courteous and smiling. There is a nice buffet breakfast and the baked goods each morning were very good!

The rooms were clean and spacious. There is a safe for valuables and a mini bar and fridge.

The hotel is in a great location to walk the town. Restaurants and colleges all within walking distance. We didn’t use our car, except to visit wine estates.

I’d recommend this hotel.

I thoroughly enjoyed staying at the Eendracht Hotel for a conference at Stellenbosch University. Avoiding the dull, homogeneous, 'international' feel of large hotels, the Eendracht has the character of a pleasant country lodge. My room was clean, large, light and well air-conditioned, and the bed was perfectly comfortable. Breakfasts were delicious. A major attraction of this hotel is its beautiful, very central location in the heart of Stellenbosch. From here you can walk within minutes to many excellent restaurants and all the major museums and attractions of the town.
