Booked 2 rooms for 4 adults and sadly it was only 1 night. When we arrived we were greeted so friendly by Linda. Covid screening was done properly on everyone and then shown the rooms available (it was not fully booked). All the rooms are stunning. Very elegant and cosy. After we already chose the Simon van der Stel room we were shown the cottage and then lost out on this to the youngsters. During our visit it was strawberry picking time. They were huge and sweet and we were treated to them every time we turned around. We left for dinner and returned to a bowel of strawberries and a bottel of wine left for us. Beds are comfortable, bathrooms are very nice, breakfast was awesome. Linda is the friendliest most hospitable host. The grounds are very well kept by I think his name was Willem and so peaceful. The wifi didn't always work but not a huge issue. Will gladly return. Beautiful place.

This accommodation is beautiful....tastefully elegant with extremely comfortable beds. Spotlessly clean and a tranquil ambience through ge tastefully decorated rooms. It is perfectly placed very close to some if the most famous local wine estates that serve sumptuous evening meals. The breakfast at Klein Akkerdrai is beauvivulky presented and served...the staff could not be more friendly and accommodating. Definitely worth staying if you are planning a visit to the area.

We had a family function to attend in Cape Town in the Stellenbosch area. The Klein Akkerdraai was recommended as being reasonably priced with good food and comfortable accommodation. It fitted the bill perfectly and we took the outside cottage as we would be coming home to bed quite late. The room was well equipped and the landlord was accommodating by placing a bed in the lounge for my daughter at no extra charge. It is very convenient to Stellenbosch and the wine farms and is way from the traffic and noise situated on a strawberry and wine farm. The breakfast was very good and home prepared with whatever we wanted. We will definitely go back for short stays in the area.

Enjoyed a peaceful stay at the Klein Akkerdraai Lodge. During the summer months, it can get quite hot in the rooms. No air conditioning but only fans. Free Wifi is advertised but was only available at times.

Ihad the pleasure of staying in this accommodation recently and was very impressed with the location, style and quality of the place. It is very tastefully furnished with many small touches in the room - fresh flowers, strawberries and amenities that really make a difference. It is in a very peaceful location but there are two vineyards within 5 minutes walk ( or should I say staggering?) distance and Klein Akkerdraai is perfectly located for vineyard hopping. There are also some great restaurants nearby - less than 5 minutes drive where the meals are also excellently priced and the quality is outstanding. Having breakfast in the small courtyard with home made preserves - just beautiful. This place is really. beautiful
