Have stayed here twice now for business and every time I enjoy it more.
The rooms are basic but functional but the communal areas both inside the property and out are wonderful.
Nothing is too much trouble for Francisca and her team, even with our weird working hours she made sure there was a breakfast ready every evening so we could eat when leaving at 5am.
Highly recommended.

We were travelling as a couple and felt very comfortable with Francisca. We were welcomed by her, her dog Max and with chocolates on the bed. The room was very clean and nicely decorated. After our luggage was lost, the airline brought it to Francisca as we were "moving" from Cape Town to her place that day. Although we couldn't inform her in advance (we had no network in the Cape that day), she kindly took it - we were very relieved!

We stayed at Eikelower to participate in the Maxi Race. The location was perfect - walking distance to the venue.
The room was great - not large but it is well equipped and layed out. We are sticklers for cleanliness and Eikelower was great on this.
Hosts are friendly and helpful. Highly recommended.

We stayed there 3 nights and after spending 5 weeks this year in SA we unfortunately have to say that this gh had the lowest value for money. The room was very very tiny and the mattresses were more than done. We normally dont complain but we had back problems from the 1st night. Also the room was not very well maintained. The breakfast and the host was nice although the noise of their kids running around screaming made it hard to relax in the afternoon. Stellenbosch is definitely a bit more pricy but we had much better accomodations so far.

Clean, homely and fresh!
The hostess, Francisca, goes out of her may to make us feel at home.
Beautiful fully equipped kitchen for self catering, but the breakfast was unbeatable!
A heated and well maintained pool seduced us into some refreshing swimming. Clean and fresh towels were available. Some tanning on the loungers was heavenly!
Nice and quiet surroundings.
Will come again!!

A wonderful spot close to town centre. Spotless, secure and the hostess was wonderful. She gave us great recommendations for food and wine and was always available to assist.

Can only recommend the accommodation. The hosts were super nice and helped me a lot with any questions I had. The location is super safe and very central, there are several wineries and riding stables nearby. I will definitely be back!

My fiance and I stayed at Eikelower this past weekend as we had a wedding in Stellenbosch that we were attending. The hosts were incredible and made us feel right at home the moment we walked in through the doors. The room we stayed in was so quaint and had everything we needed for a little weekend away. The only thing that made my fiance and I upset was the fact that we couldn't stay longer and had no time to make use of the pool or the fantastic braai facilities!! All in all, this is an absolutely beautiful place and perfect for any person wanting to stay at a home away from home!
