I think the title says it all! My mother and me felt very welcomed.
The staff is amazing! Breakfast is delicious! The rooms are lovely!
Hugo made our stay really special: he was very keen, showed us Stellenbosch centre and even drove us there. He made excellent suggestions for diner and the wine tasting tours and organised everything during our stay. He did his best to make our stay as wonderful as possible.
The rooms are beautiful and you can sense that a lot of love was put into the interior decoration.
Thank you!

This is the second time I have stayed at Baruch Guest House. I absolutely love it! It is so warm and friendly, the staff are amazing. It is an ideal location for walking distance to the hospital and it makes it very easy to support a loved one undergoing care in the Winelands Clinic. It is also a really special place to stay even if not needing the clinic!! I will definitely go back, and would recommend it to anyone!

Very nice guesthouse in a quiet surrounding. Very helpful and friendly staff. We enjoyed the breakfast on the terrace. A supermarket is very close to Baruch, reaching the center takes 5-10 minutes by car (better take Uber)

+1
Highly recommend this old house on a quiet street in Stellenbosch, a R42 uber ride to your meeting or a wine farm. Decor baroque sumptuous and beds enormous and comfortable with firm, yes please, pillows ! I had an upstairs room with big balcony and it was a very warm June day, door open was lovely. Big shower, and lovely selection of teas , mini bar, good quality wifi and professional welcome from Bryony. Mariette helped us with a key mix up so calmy most resourceful lady and despite this being a very busy business stay I managed to enjoy a brief hiatus. Breakfast is a calm affair where we both could work while a lovely spread was offered. Light options available. It may sound trite but I felt like a "guest". A must on your next trip to Stellenbosch

Baruch Guest House on Lovell, is situated in a pleasant safe residential area, is spacious, welcoming and extremely friendly. Behind the property is a very pleasant very well maintained colourful Garden, and a large clean Swimming Pool. Breakfast is superb, full or comprehensive Continental. We had one of the three upstairs rooms, extremely comfortable, with a spacious furnished Balcony. The rooms downstairs have a small terrace accessing directly on to the Pool.
All together a very pleasant experience, with a warm welcoming reception

this is a wonderful guest house, only few rooms, excellent breakfast, very friendly staff. We enjoyed our stay, close to the sea. Baruch is in a very quiet and (for us) safe area, close to a supermarket and a restaurant and with Uber a few minutes to the center and main beach

My wife and I spent a week at Baruch Guesthouse in Stellenbosch. Everything was superb, amazing staff and great location with descent restaurants and hospital close by. Thank you very much Mariette and Yvonne you made our stay a great pleasure . Your kindness and consideration was reflected in the flowers you brought my wife the day after her surgery. I would recommend this guest house to anybody considering a place to stay in Stellenbosch

In my 6 trips to South Africa, I’ve stayed in tons of guesthouses and Baruch is by far on top of my list for cleanliness, comfort, service and quality of breakfast. The facilities are well maintained and they really take proper measures against covid. We’ll definitely return again. Highly highly recommended.
