Avenues Guest House, where a warm welcome and true South African hospitality awaits you, is set in the heart of historic Stellenbosch. Come and relax in the pool after a day of golfing, wine-tasting, shopping, bird-watching or a leisurely stroll through the town. In the evening, sample the culinary delights of the region at one of the many formal and informal restaurants; all within walking distance. Comfortable air-conditioned rooms ensure a good night's rest. Airport transfers and tours can be arranged. Wi-fi and off street parking available.
Places to stay are graded on a 0-100 scale. The higher the grade, the easier it is for travellers to find restaurants and things to do within walking distance.
Room and bathroom clean and well appointed. Lovely area to have breakfast. Only downside was the light switch to the bathroom was no where near the bathroom (!), and the room opened out directly onto where the girls were preparing breakfast, and we were awoken at around 6.30am by quite loud chatting, I appreciate they need to prepare, but some insight into the negatives of chatting at that time is needed. Good location for walking into Stellenbosch, although Uber is readily available and cheap.

We had a one night stay at Avenues Guest Lodge. We were warmly welcomed. Booked one of the rooms opposite the pool. Excellent and very delicious breakfast. Walking distance to City Centre ... would absolutely recommend it and definitely stay there again when in Stellenbosch.

Um pequeno hotel, com aspecto de casa, quartos lindos e uma cama grande muito confortável, extremamente limpo . Quem nos recebeu foi Tania , que foi incrivelmente solicita fez uma reserva para nosso jantar , cafe da manhã foi delicioso. Bem perto do centro de stellenbosh. Recomendo muito.

I had a best experince in this B&B....it was a home away from home.....good ambiance very clean rooms and a friendly and helpful owner/caretaker and staff. The kitchen is spotless...I am raving about this place it is a good, functional, quality gem of a place in Stellebosch:-). The breakfast is scrumptuous and fresh!!!!!!! THUMBS UP to this establishment.

We had a fabulous stay at this lovely lodge! Friendly staff, lovely rooms (number 7 is the best!), very tasty breakfast and in a great location with walking distance to the town centre and all the restaurants. We would be happy to stay here again!

The Avenues is located a 5 minute walk from the centre of Stellenbosch and all the great restaurants.The host Francine was incredibly friendly and booked us into 2 fantastic restaurants that she recommended ,they were first class.Nothing was too much trouble.The room was clean and comfortable and we would stay here again.

This guest lodge is a perfect place to stay for a weekend visit to Stellenbosch. The house and rooms are very nicely done, comfortable and inviting. Breakfast is included and we had a choice of continental and a cooked breakfast. Free wifi, free parking and a pool!

First of all, the staffs were so nice that I could enjoy my stay in Sttellembosch. I will again stay at this lodge upon my next visit to Stellenbosch. Wonderful staffs and breakfast ! If any light dinner is served, it is much better.

Super schönes kleines Hotel mit sehr netten und hilfsbereiten Gastgeberinnen. Sie haben uns eine tolle Weintour gebucht und uns viele nützliche Tipps gegeben. Das Hotel selbst ist schön eingerichtet, sauber und gepflegt. Lage ist sehr gut.

All the rooms are connecties to a center living room, where you can relax and take a drink. Home like feeling with a tv and kitchen you can use. You can walk to the center of town and come back after a great meal and wine in one of the fine restaurants.

Directions to Avenues Guest Lodge
From Cape Town International Airport, take the N2 towards Somerset West, take the R310 Baden Powell turn-off, and then turn left towards Stellenbosch.
Continue along this road, at the third set of traffic lights, turn right into Adam Tas Road (direction Stellenbosch).
Proceed across the first set of traffic lights (you will notice on your right hand side “Distell”) and at the second set of traffic lights turn right into Dorp Street.
Continue along Dorp Street across the traffic lights at the R44 till the top of the road. The road will make a slight bend to your right, as you enter the bend turn left into The Avenue/Die Laan, we are number 32.
