Beautiful place. Friendly service. Tanya and Nomfuneko made sure my stay was a pleasant one. Beautiful garden that offers a relaxing environment by the swimming pool. Quiet area that is very close to nice restaurants.
This was a great find - we had a lovely room, bright and spacious - with a private door onto the garden where we could have breakfast. Breakfast was substantial and the staff were attentive and charming. There is a also nice clean pool to cool off in at the end of the day before the 5 min walk into town.
So friendly and professional. Breakfast was spot on and a wide range of choices. Thank you for the stay and I will visit again soon. The staff that cleaned also friendly. Thank you for your friendly advice.
Lovely old building in pretty spot. We stayed in the newer wing and looked over the garden and pool, and had booked an upgraded room. All spotlessly clean and nicely decorated. No TV, but that wasn't an issue for us as we were out. 5 mins walk to the main part of town. Off street parking for 3 car, so we were lucky. Breakfast was lovely with cold and hot options, the latter freshly cooked to order.Def recommend.
We have stayed at The Avenues a number of time and it is always a pleasure to return. We usually stay ay the end of our South African holidays because w love Stellenbosch and it is convenient for Cape Town Airport. We are always well looked after with excellent service and friendly staff. Our room was excellent, as were our breakfasts. The location is quiet and the amenities are totally satisfactory. We drop our hire car the day we arrive and the only (very small) downside of the location is walking from the town on hot Stellenbosch day! If and when we visit again we will book in again at the The Avenues! Best wishes form Flick & Arnie Read, Ilkley, UK.
