This place is amazing. I stayed there for 16 days and I must confess that I was impressed by the service that I got. The place is beautiful, the rooms are very clean and the staff is friendly and helpful. For those who want accommodation in Stellenbosch, this is the right place. I am confident, you will not regret.

Stayed here 2 nights arriving by train from Cape Town. It was a 15 minute safe walk and the same to the Town Centre. The room i had in the main building was pleasant, had a/c, & was comfortable and quiet. The bathroom was a little dated but clean with complementary shower gel, shampoo, skin cream etc. The Jacuzzi was very pleasant after a long day in the hot sun. Breakfast was a very pleasant array of tropical fruits, yoghurt, ham & meats supplied by mine host Daniel.
His hospitality was excellent and he even drove me back to the Train Station.

We couldn't have asked for a better base to explore the Western Cape. Typical Cape hospitality from the owners, breakfast to die for, price-wise excellent value for money. The room was spacious with everything we needed. We will definitely be back.

For a start, there are 2 properties here - a 4 bedroom house and a studio flat in the hosts' house next door.
We booked and paid for the house. The host e-mailed us and suggested we move to the studio, but at no price reduction, so we refused. On the second day of our stay, when we were out, he came in and locked 2 of the bedrooms !
Again, whilst we were out, they let themselves in and used the washing machine. We came back to find it in use, and them banging on the door to unload it.......
The house is of a good size, but the kitchen and the bathrooms are extremely tatty, and a lot of the lights around the house have no light bulbs (including the kitchen).
There is a quite offensive list of do's and don'ts on the fridge door including do not steal our hangers, and do not get nail varnish on our carpets.
All in all, the whole house should be refurbished, and the hosts should take a course in hospitality and manners......

We rented Besigheim No.7

Although winter rates, incredible value for money for my partner and our three daughters in July. Four bedrooms, all the amenities, spotless double storied house, serviced, and an honesty bar too noggal.

Perfect for us as I was in Stellenbosch Mediclinic for a few nights, and Besigheim 7 is within walking distance.

Huge beautifully manicured garden with a pool: pity it was winter.

Hopefully summer rates not too much.

I enjoyed my four nights in this delightful part of Stellenbosch. While it's just a bit too far out of the town centre to walk, it is a short drive away, and is situated in a quiet, residential suburb, with a convenient shopping centre nearby. Try and book into the Askham room upstairs - it is luxurious, spacious and very well appointed, with a full kitchen, private deck with nice views, and everything else you could need.

Thank you for everything - one of the best times of my life. We'll be back… We had a great stay here @ the Besigheim Bed and Breakfast in Stellenbosch... Our room was so comfortable and the food & wine was the best that I have ever had at a B&B anywhere!
Thank you very much again.
Most sincerely
Daniel & Etienne
