We stayed for 16 nights departing 16th Nov 2024 on a part business / part holiday trip. The hotel, grounds, rooms and staff are fabulous. The lodges are well appointed, housekeeping is intuitive and non intrusive. The food at both restaurants and breakfast are superb, many thanks to Nick and the team for looking after us so well. Front desk provide an excellent service, always with a smile. There is a genuine care for the guest wellbeing and experience. Do visit the spa, again fantastic therapists. Highly recommend, we look forward to returning.

We visited Delaire Graff for 2 nights in 2019 and after a few COVID disruptions were finally able to make it here for a longer stay in Dec 2022. So many of our favorite hotels pre-COVID have become shells of their former selves (amangiri, singita boulders, four seasons surfside) so it was extremely refreshing to find that since 2019 Delaire Graff has gotten even better!
From the get go, Natasha and her team at the front desk were so helpful and so welcoming. They could not have taken better care of us. Special thanks to her and team of Mikaela (sic?), Danika, and Cindy. Every request was handled promptly and they were so thoughtful and proactive with so much of our scheduling. Housekeeping was the highest standard and done multiple times per day and almost immediately after you left the room.
The lodge is by no means old, and yet I can tell they've done so many renovations to keep it in mint condition. The owner clearly is sparing no expense and continues to invest in his hard product. The landscaping alone must cost a fortune, but it is truly a marvel for all of your senses (the sights and smells are like paradise). Walking through the vineyards was a daily joy.
Back to the rooms: there are some lodges which were built in 2018 which are definitely an upgrade over the originals, and I understand the originals will undergo a renovation early next year. What a contrast from Singita Boulders where it's been a decade since they've touched their hard product, and would never dream of investing the amount Delaire does: Dornbracht fixtures in the bathroom, japanese toilets, automatic pool covers, beautiful hard wood floors. Bravo dear Delaire team, believe me that your attention to detail and quality has not gone unnoticed. We are very much looking forward to seeing the results of the renovation next year during our next visit.
The staff in Indochine (the breakfast and all-day restaurant) are all treasures. Super friendly, and the breakfast dishes are delicious, and trust me when I say that we are not easy to please when it comes to food. Nyasha, Nick, Francois are all so helpful and I love their attitude. It reminds me of how Amangiri used to be, 'no request is too large' and the default answer is always 'yes'. Want something off the lunch menu to be served at dinner? Of course. Want something delivered after hours for room service? Not a problem. Even the best hotels in the world will rarely maintain that standard any more so thank you Delaire for keeping it up.
Every time we've come to South Africa, we've added additional nights at Delaire. So much so that the next time we go, we plan to only stay at Delaire. The owner is clearly investing a great deal in the hard product but I hope that they also continue to do so in their soft product, as it is the great team and culture which take Delaire to that next level and separate it from everyone else in the pack. I would give it 6* if I could. Thank you!

Delaire Graff Estate is a wonderful place to stay. The lodges are in impeccable condition and the food (provided by the top restaurant Höseki) is among the very best. Even more important, however, is the humane and committed welcome and care during our entire stay. In summary In one word: - Perfect -

We stayed here for one night on 31st January. We were in Lodge 14. The check in process, was brilliant. They were able to rearrange things we’d booked as we had only just flown in from the UK and we’re exhausted. The lodge itself was stunning, the views, the quality of the accommodation and the pool area. Fully stocked free minibar with soft drinks, beer and water (including milk, for those that like a cup of tea in the mornings). Also brandy, scotch, vodka and gin available. We did a wine tasting and had a tour of the estate, which was good fun and really interesting.
Stunning location too.

Every minute of our stay at Delaire Graff was an absolute dream. From the stunning scenery, to the elegant decor, the attentive service, the stunning buildings and beautifully appointed Lodges with thoughtful touches like baked treats and two sets of bath robes (one set for summer, the other for winter!) we really could not have asked for more. Highly recommend!

Our waiter, Immanuel started off ok, forgot my husband beer, took away my wine glass when our bottle of wine was not even half. Conveniently forgot to come back to us for our dessert order instead fawning over other people. Then to top it off, he goes around giving everyone sweets from the chef as a thank you, even before their bills were settled. I asked him why we were not given sweets, he said he forgot because he had been so busy. Oh my word, really? Iam I the wrong colour to be dining at this place? Surely money has the same colour and we didn't come for charity but as a treat as the previous occasions we were hosted much better. Such a sour end to our day. I wish people will get treated the same whenever they go, we weren't even greeted on our way out. Such a disappointment. Customer service definitely not one of their strong points!

We've stayed at Delaire Graff Lodges last year and it was one of the best experiences you could have. The views are amazing, the vineyards, the mountains, the sunset. Everything is perfect. Every staff member is so kind, so polite and so worried if everything is perfect that it made us feel like home.
The room is totally unique. It's huge, with a perfect pool facing the vineyards. Unique in the world.
The breakfast has a lot of room to improve.
We cannot wait to back to this place.

Experienced tarvelers all over the world .. ( for a job) first off the staff who welcomed us was excellent we then booked in for wine tasting told no space wait for 30 mins okay ! We went to view lodges and private spas so have money to spend it’s expensive! When come back say in dark not nice corner, obviously you visit for the outstanding views and excellence we definitely didn’t get that, My wine rating experience was one glass in 45 mins forgotten about although asking 3 times for wine. The only time this experience improved is when we left I spoke to lovely Dillion about our not so great experience he was very genuinely upset and done all he could to turn this around we went to wash rooms and befor e we left he and the manger found us and gave us a bottle of wine to say sorry and asked us to come back, it was so nice to see they genuinely cared about repeat and return business,,,, I am a customer service manager and was exceptionally pleased with how they Re covered our poor experience.. thank you we will return 😊. Dillion you made the difference

I’ve always visited Delaire estate on our trips to South Africa for lunch . This time we decided to spend 2 nights staying at the lodge . The accommodations and wonderful amenities provided were out of this world . From the aromatic hand sanitiser, room fragrance , beverages, teas and snack it was superb. Treatments at the spa made us feeling e royalty . Our breakfast with the stunning view and all the gluten-free toast were a nice way to make the upsetting experience the previous night at Indochine ( the restaurant) What a pity the staff at Indochine were so unprofessional and badly trained. South Africa has so many wonderful first class eateries . It was so upsetting to get such a dreadful experience in such an upmarket venue .

Beautiful hotel, the setting is amazing and the bungalows are like little houses, you have a private pool, a kitchen, living room, bar all beautiful. The pool is beautiful and all the facilities are perfectly maintained. The only reason I don’t give it 5 stars is because of the food at the restaurants and the slow service. One night are meal took over two hours. At breakfast the eggs take a long time as well. In the main restaurant Delaire the lamb was over cooked and dry. The indochine restaurant was better but they took two hours to serve the meal, it was too long. Overall great stay but the food and serving time needs improvement.
