We were given a room we did not book in a different building. We were assured an early check in but on arrival the cleaning had not even started. Seems the staff do not communicate well. The other guests kept their TV at full volume till after midnight and again at 5am. Seems this building was not supervised at all.

Our host was very helpful. The beds were comfortable. Rusks, beverages, milk and cereal were provided. The bathroom, was cramped, however, and no drying cloths for the dishes. Our neighbours smoked outside their unit and it was a problem for us, as the smoke came into our unit. There was only 1 extra blanket, in the lounge.

After looking at the Guest House web page and booking viaBooking.com, I had an impression that I have booked a double room with exit to the garden and a table and braai place in front. But obviously the web page is outdated and such rooms do not exist. There are few rooms that go out to the yard which is hardly usable and offers no space to sit outside comfortably. It is overgrown, shady and wet. The disappointment was big, especially as the place is sort of self catering and braai would have been great to have. The room we had was on the upper level, very nice however and comfortable.

I had booked for one night and informed the accommodation about my late arrival from the airport. When I arrived at the accommodation around 23:50 hrs, there was no one to let me in. The phone numbers on my reservation and at the gate were not answered. Eventually, I had to sleep in my car. Several days later, I got in touch with the accommodation. They apologised, but failed to refund my deposit. Reminder messages remained unanswered. This is not an isolated occurrence; in February 2018 the exact same thing happened to me at this accommodation.

Terrible experience. Place is very echoy. People bang doors. Is very loud. There is old and washed out curtains and linen, and even broken blinds in the place(Unit 4). Towels smelt like stinky sweat and water takes forever to heat up. Toilet pipes make huge noises due to water pressure everytime someone flushes their toilet.
