Best place to stay on the Wine Route - stunning views of the hills and farms and thankfully no kids and no pets meaning it was peaceful, tranquil and serene. A hidden gem with high quality furnishings and facilities. Ample parking, swimming pool and great self catering facilities. Very clean and organised - they even had a picnic blanket for us to borrow and ample pool and beach towels replenished regularly.

This is our second time we have stayed at Mont Angelis. What a wonderful time we had. The rooms are well appointed and as it was cold when we were staying we had a lovely wood fire to keep us warm. The views are spectacular, you feel as though you are in the countryside but you are actually only 10 minutes by car into Stellenbosch. Lianti looked after us during our stay and she is always on hand if you need anything. We will definitely be back again.

We had an amazing stay at Mont Angelis! The setting between the mountains is magical. The units have beautiful interior and fully equipped for somebody who want to go somewhere to relax and do nothing at all! The road to Mont Angelis lends itself to cycling or just taking a walk in nature. The beds are comfortable with crispy white linen and good quality pillows. We enjoyed our stay at Mont Angelis and would definitely recommend to friends, family and visitors to KAALVOET.

We enjoyed our stay at Mont Angelis and the cottage is well equiped. I would suggest that the cleaners be checked as they didn't even sweep the floors after I've asked them to. On the day that we arrived the floors were dirty and I asked them on the second day if they would please sweep and mop the floors and they just ignored my request. Also our bathrooms weren't cleaned daily. I would also suggest that the rooms be equipped with airconditioning as it was quite hot in the evenings and we kept the windows open but then the mosquitos was a problem.

Hi Melinda, I am truly sorry you felt that the cleaners needed to be checked. Just a couple of things, first of all, Covid regulations suggest that rooms are not cleaned while guests are here for the safety of the staff, but we choose to rather ask each guests what they would want during this time as some guests still require certain things. And my staff went out of their way to ensure your cottage was perfect before you arrived(we put in extra of everything). I double checked everything personally, and we even made provision for your son to sleep on the couch even though it is not something we usually allow. My cleaning ladies did everthing you asked of them on the Saturday(apparently you asked them to only sweep, wash floors and to clean the weber - they also cleaned the kitchen, and couldn't get to the bathroom because you were still getting ready). On Sunday your kids were in the cottage so my cleaning ladies had to work around them, again, they cleaned the floors and the entire kitchen after you had baked a cake. Again I am truly sorry you felt that they ignored your requests.

Simply perfect, with everything we need, although a washing machine in place of the dishwasher would like me much more, rs.. LeeAnne was super attentive and helpful, cleanliness and impeccable organization, all of very good taste. I just loved everything, as I went by car I found no problem in transportation to wineries or to the centre of Stellenbosch! :)

We had a long lunch at Waterford wine Estate some 2kms away so it was a nice drive up the valley to get the accommodation. A simple key box with code to get in, to find a beautiful little cottage overlooking the valley with all the autumn colours. A nice bottle of wine awaited us, firewood for the wood burner and Wi-Fi connection. We didn’t use the pool but it did look inviting. A perfect spot to watch the sun rise and set, highly recommended!

My wife and I stayed at Mont Angelis for two weeks at the end of February/beginning of March in the two bedroom cottage. We had a wonderful stay at Mont Angelis. It gave us an opportunity to relax and enjoy some relief from the city life. Sitting on the balcony, sipping on wine and watching the sunset was just perfect. Rooms were well kitted with everything you may need for a long self-catering stay and were serviced daily.

From the moment we enquired about accommodation at Mont Angelis to the time we left , we were treated like most pristine guests. The accommodation is extremely well looked after, everything in its place. The view from the rooms are breathtaking. Quiet and Tranquil surroundings, yet a stone throw away from central town.
Our hostess Lianti, was professional and friendly, most welcoming and accommodating.
We will definitely recommend Mont Angelis to our friends. This is the place to be when visiting Stellenbosch.

The stay at Mont Angelis was thoroughly enjoyable. The location is beautiful and peaceful, and the cottage was well appointed and spacious. Mont Angelis is away from the crowds, making it ideal for peace and quiet, but near enough to amenities for everything you might need.
