From our arrival till our departure we had the warmest of welcome and the saddest of goodbyes. To management and staff thank you for making this girls trip the most memorable of all. We even had a day trip out to surrounding areas. Our room was excellent and spacious just adore the spacious shower. due to unforeseen circumstances we had to extend our stay for one more night. Gaynor and her staff did not hesitate to put us up for one more night. Would definitely visit again

we had a ground flat near the pool-with a good weather we had it was so much fun to stay there-the showers are so spacious with hot water all the time-in the 3 days spend we had such excellent service from the owner to the staff members-the pool was nicely cleaned-soft blankets and fresh linen was supplied evryday .never did we get angry faces from the staff even when we asked for favours like ironong our clothes or preparing a quick mel for us .we actually felt home for the whole time .thank you so much to staff and management for making our stay on womans month a unique experience-you guys rock

Thank you very much to Gaynor and her wonderful staff for making our 3 night stay memorable. The Lodge is conveniently located, close to the main road and shops. After a very warm welcome we were given historical information about the town and advice on places to visit, as well as activities and places to eat. Rooms were clean and comfortable, convenient parking and the staff were friendly and helpful. I would recommend Saldanha Bay Lodge to holidaymakers and business travellers alike. There is no sign announcing the lodge from the street. Just a phone number to call. It was the neighbors who confirmed to us that it was there. After 5 minutes, the goalkeeper arrives! Surprise, the dirt parking is full! There is nothing common between pictures on websites and reality... The caretaker was not really expecting us, only one of the two rooms we had booked was available. We insist heavily and he finally offers us a second room (we are 6 and the room is already very small for 4) His dog got into the car (with his dirty legs of course), impossible to get him out and the guard smiled and tried nothing! Horrible experience to see the dog paws on the seats! The rooms are dirty and poorly maintained, and dangerous: deplorable and dangerous electricity, exterior doors impossible to lock with the key (we will go to dinner with our valuable belongings), broken tile tiles in the bathroom, dirty shower, dirty sheets , forgotten plastics in the freezer, A horror ! We are having dinner outside and always difficult to park when we come back! And here begins the night of horror! From 1:30 to 4:00 in the morning, an unbearable din, laughter, shouting, loud voices .... Until a couple comes out of their room and have sex in the hall of 4 m2 just behind our room (I specify that we have two children who tries to sleep!) We ask them to leave and surprised ... they get dressed and leave The guardian hears nothing or does not want to hear anything. It is impossible to sleep! A car parked at 2am in front of my parents-in-law's bedroom .. 10cm from their door, they were very scared and then very hard to get out of their room. We sent an SMS and called the manager during all this din. She says she called her guard but he did not hear anything (he was actually celebrating with the other people) She did not call us back then! In the morning, the portal did not work anymore .... Impossible to go out, trapped! The manager wanted to apologize and offered to pay nothing ... but since she had already taken 100% of the amount, she then refused to repay us as promised. I was looking for a place to stay while doing a road trip and came across this venue I was told that there is accommodation available for me which I gladly accepted I was 100% happy with what i got, warm welcome, clean accommodation beautiful rooms good service will highly recommend anyone to Saldaha Bay Lodge I also liked the fact that i was introduces to all the surrounding amenities made my life so much easier Thanks again Lilian .
