Beautiful spot and easy admin. I know they don’t seem to necessarily go together but they do. Pre information excellent with all details required and then you arrive and you have a great cottage with excellent views and a super peaceful place. We didn’t do a lot of cooking but we could have.

This was one of the most spectacular and incredible places we have been to! Exactly what we needed on our honeymoon. The cottage was superbly decorated and immaculate presented, totally private with amazing views over the tree canopies of the forest. The host Ingrid was so accommodating and made us feel so welcome, also advised us on hikes in the area which we went on and loved. Ingrid also recommended the ladies that came to the cottage to perform a aromatherapy couples massage, an experience like no other! A few days of absolute perfection!

We had the best time at Cliffhanger- the views are divine, looking across the valley and it was incredibly peaceful. The cottage is very comfortable, the bed extremely comfortable and I highly recommend staying here

We had an amazing stay. It's amazing how close to nature we were. We lived seeing the birds migrate each morning. And the view is amazing. The cottage has a nice cozy feeling. We opted for the cottage with the hot tub. This was an amazing experience.

Most relaxing weekend ever. Waking up with a coffee in bed and a breath taking view. Best place to read a book and completely relax. Cottage is completely kitted out and perfect. I highly recommend 😊

What an amazing stay at the Cliffhanger Cottage, when we arrived Ingrid had already warmed up the hot tub for us. Everything that you could possibly need is available at the cottage, we did not leave the place the entire weekend. Views are breathtaking, private and secluded. It was a perfect weekend, and we will surely be back

This cottage hide-away on a cliff in the forests, is just great. The Hot Tub is a great experience. The views from within the cottage, overlooking the forests, cliffs and mountains are the best. The unit is comfortable and value for bucks.

We stayed in Cliffedge cottage for 3 magical days and nights. The photos don't do it justice. The unassuming exterior, a wooden hut, opens up to the most spectacular views as you enter. For a moment we felt like we were floating above a forest valley. This was just the beginning of an unforgettable stay. Not only was our little temporary home cozy and spotless, but the attention to detail, was in a class of its own. The shower, which had a large window with a view to the forest, came with it's own window wiper so that we could clear the steam off the glass and appreciate the view whilst showering. The cozy fireplace had pieces of wood ready to be lit. There was wifi and a t.v which even came with a small USB drive loaded with movies. The toaster had a pair of toast tongs so we wouldn't burn our fingers when removing our crunchy pieces of morning toast. The balcony was equipped with a comfortable couch on wheels, which proved very useful in the afternoon sun. An ingenious bird watering bowl was attached to the balcony which allowed guests to fill the bird bath in the lower garden from the comfort of the balcony. I can't say enough about the spectacular views at sunset and sunrise. My only complaint is that this might in fact, be the best cottage we've ever stayed in, and it's going to be difficult for us to find another cottage that's up to par. Thank you Ingrid and Barry. Good value for money and set in a beautiful environment. The accommodation is great and close to everything. The owners are very friendly and available should you have any query or just want to chat. The views from the cottages are great and you see the mountain and the forest all the time.

Our cottage was perfection. Beautifully appointed, sparkling clean, every item you can think of was provided! The view was spectacular. The bird activity was entertaining and the stars breathtaking. It's peaceful and private but not far from eateries in Knysna and Sedgefield. Our hosts were friendly and accommodating. Thanks for all the special touches! We will be back!
