What a wonderful stay! Our villa among the vineyards, set off from the main estate, was so lovely and comfortable. Our foursome had "the family quarters"--two rooms and a sitting room. And ow great that they have 3 restaurants on site!! We loved the breakfast, had a very nice and very filling meal at Giovanni's, and drinks at Suzanne's. Got some nice things to take home at the farm store, too. Would love to come in summer to enjoy the pool, mountain biking (rentals at a new kiosk on the estate), and outdoor dining. It's a beautiful place, and close to town while seeming very remote.

This place is just stunning! Our room was beautifully decorated and the bed was so comfortable with high quality linen! The bathroom was well stocked and beautifully finished! We had lunch at the restaurant on the estate which is honestly one of the most delicious meals I’ve ever had - our entire party of 10 agreed! I will definitely be staying here again when I’m in Paarl and will tell everyone I know whose going there to stay! Thank you so much xx

Laborie, what an amazing surprise!

The accommodation is neat, clean and spacious. The staff are friendly and very welcoming. Breakfast at the Stoep restaurant was tasty and good value for money. The location is perfect and as usual the lunch at Giovanni’s never disappoints. Laborie is definitely a place I will stay at again.

I had to cancel my booking due to personal reasons 5 days before my stay. After trying to communicate with them via email and telephone, they eventually agreed to pay me back 50% of my booking. For another 2 weeks I emailed and called almost everyday. I spoke to several people at reception and accounts and every time I was told they would call me back. I also asked several times to speak to a manager, but I was never called back. I then received an amount after 3 weeks, but it was not 50% of my booking either. The manager or anyone else from Laborie has still not contacted me.

We stayed in Villa 1 and the decor was amazing. Only issue with the room, is that there is very little cupboard space for clothing, especially for 2 people staying for 6 days. The 2 restaurants that we ate at, were really good and had extremely friendly staff. The biggest issue is lack of attention to detail. Silly things like having 2 bottles of wine in the room and not been told that you would be charged for them, if your drank them and then only finding out at departure. You would think that they would be complimentary for upmarket accommodation. There were other issues that we experienced, which I feel shows that senior management is not checking up on overall service. Most of the hotel saff were great and tried their best.

We visited this lovely wine farm on Sunday for lunch at the Stoep restaurant. Fantastic views of vineyards and trees. We ordered the lamb shank which was absolutely stupendous! Soft, falling of the bone with the most velvety mash potatoes and wild mushrooms!! The jus was rich and glossy!! Mmm my oh my what a delightful experience. The service was excellent, attentive but not intrusive. We did a quick wine stating and Shane served us! Extremely knowledgeable in the wine department. I would like to thank the staff and management for a stunning experience!! I highly recommend the Stoep restaurant!!

We were a group of ladies who had our 50th school reunion at Laborie and could not have wished for a better venue.
Everything was just perfect. The rooms were beautiful and comfortable.
Both The Stoep and Giovannis restaurants were fantastic.
The service at Laborie and both restaurants was exceptional.
Thank you so much once again for an unforgettable weekend.

My 4th stay and highly recommended. Immaculate accommodation with all the thoughtful luxuries, superb breakfast in bucolic surroundings at Stoep Restaurant. And the all-important, always pleasant, helpful and efficient staff who can never do enough to enhance your stay. A special mention of Gavin at Reception who is always perfect in his role and makes our every stay a dream. I will be back.

Beautiful vinyard close to the centre of Paarl . We enjoyed a sharing platter at Suzanne’s . A wine tasting , a walk around the property. A comfortable nights accommodation , the room had all the extras you would want. Staff were all friendly & helpful. Would highly recommend.
