Welcome to Alba House. Set among wine farms on slopes of Paarl Nature Reserve the outskirts of Paarl. Fantastic views over the Berg River Valley towards Klein Drakensberg Mountains. Easily accessible from Cape Town on the N1 and Cape Town International Airport in 40 minutes. Close to many excellent restaurants and wine farms. Some walking distance. Golfing paradise with Paarl(Boschenmeer) Golf Club within 5 minutes drive, Pearl Valley only 10 minutes drive and Val de Vie Polo Estate 8 minutes drive. Many activities can be enjoyed in and around town, from visiting Wine Farms for leisurely lunches and wine tasting, to hiking in the Paarl Mountain, driving to surrounding valleys through the mountain passes for fantastic views. Travel by tram to nearby Franschhoek, visit farms on the way. Alba House is 4 star graded. We offer 4 king size rooms, which can be converted to twin rooms. All en-suite bathrooms, outside seating patios. Huge salt water swimming pool. Excellent breakfast.

Warm recommendations! The place belongs to the wonderful Ivana, who welcomed us so warmly. An amazing villa & well designed at the outskirts of Paarl and close to many wineries, villages and natural parks. There is a well-kept garden, clean and large pool, with sun loungers and cushions. Sometimes butterflies and birds will also visit... The room is really cozy and the bed is super comfortable. In the morning you will enjoy a good coffee and a wonderful breakfast: cheeses, fruit, granola and an omelet (or other sort of eggs you wish for), made on spot :) The house is in a quiet neighborhood, five minutes from all the good restaurants Paarl has to offer. Lovely and beautiful place! We are staying here for our third time and we are going to come back for sure :)

Ivana was a lovely host. She welcomed us so kindly inside her beautiful home, also giving us wonderful recommendations of what to do and where to go in the area. The garden and view are just beautiful and so colourful. Our bed and room was very comfortable and the atmosphere was calm and relaxing. The big pool in the beautiful, lush garden is GREAT! Ivana's breakfast was delicious. We'll definitely be back!!

Nice place in a quiet, safe neighborhood.Big clean rooms,decor on point,okay breakfast.Room had a nice patio overlooking the garden and pool area. I would book again if I ever find myself in the area,well stocked bar fridge.An electric blanket would have been good to have on cold nights.

we turned up at their door last minute and were amazingly accommodated. the bed was good, so was the shower. garden was amazing, with fruit and flowers... beautiful. breakfast was Also a great treat, with the best fruit salad ever!

Such a pleasure staying here. Beds are big and comfortable. Airconditioning is great and a must for Paarl. Very waterwise considering the drought. We had a lovely little private outside section. Will definitely come back.

Had such a lovely warm welcome, staff very friendly. The rooms are clean and beautifully decorated. WOW! The garden is truly amazing and very calming with a beautiful pool. Surrounding views from the house are truly beautiful. Loved the breakfast, it was really tasty. The location is quiet and convenient. A definite must stay❤

Not our first time to stay at Alba House, we found it beautifully presented and welcoming, as before. The rooms are large and attractively decorated. The quality of service and the facilities are excellent. The location is convenient for shopping, restaurants and golf, and the surrounding views from the house are truly beautiful.

I must say that I was very surprised to arrive at such a lovely place. The staff were exceptional and the House was so beautifully appointed and clean. The breakfast room allowed the guests to mix together and talk over a very generous breakfast that was so good I nearly missed my appointment. with my eye specialist. Lovely place to stay

I have spend 10 days at Alba House. This was the perfect anding to my two months holiday in South Africa. Not only is this beutiful accommodation with perfect views, but also every comfort for the guest has been provided. I am a very keen golfer and there are a many quality golfcourses near by. Paarl is an excellent place from which to visit the numerous wineries in the valley, as well as Nature reservations surrounding the town. The staff at Alba House were very helpful in arranging trips, golf, and booking restaurants. There are many good restaurants in and around town, catering for all tastes. If you are planning to visit the Cape Winwlands, go to Alba House. It is the perfect destination.
