A beautiful and scenic stopover in Paarl at d'Olyfboom with friendly and helpful staff, as well as views that will blow your mind they are so beautiful.

I spent one night at d'Olyfboom recently and can highly recommend this as the perfect place to base yourself to explore the Paarl and surrounding areas.

They are super family friendly, which is great and the view out over the vinyards and surrounding mountains is breathtaking.

The rooms are beautifully decorated, with an eclectic mix of old and new furniture items, and the large bathroom featured striking tiling and wall art, which I loved.

The farm breakfast was delicious and the entire experience was warm and welcoming from start to finish.

We decided to stay at D' Olyfboom Guest House the Night of our wedding and it was absolutely beautiful, on the day of the wedding it was extremely busy but Debbie was kind enough to ensure that we receive the key.

They made the room up so beautifully by adding in their special touch by showering us with beautiful rose petals and champagne and their own little personal message. We enjoyed the view of Paarl the following morning and their yummy breakfast!

We will definitely be returning to D' Olyfboom for another stay as it's such a beautiful estate and space to be in.

Thank you for your hospitality and kindness!

We booked out the whole guesthouse for my wedding weekend, and what an absolutely amazing stay!

The staff was friendly and prepared to bend over backwards to accommodate our needs. The exquisite rooms overlook lovely vineyards and the most beautiful mountains and the sunrises are simply breathtaking!

Th bathrooms are luxurius and spacious, with a little courtyard and a swimming pool at the back.

The quality of the bedding was top, and we had the best rest there!

The breakfast was delicious, beautifully prepared and choices to fill anyone’s preference.

What a gem in the middle of Paarl. A oasis and must visit-stay!

D'Olyfboom went the extra miles and served us late on a Sunday afternoon with accommodation for 3 tired travellers.
No quieter, relaxed home base could be available and with the view fit for a landlord.
Breakfasts for the week were special and meticulously prepared.
The room and amenities are of the best quality and creates an at-home atmosphere to ensure a good rest after the day's labor.

I had a reservation for 2 March 2023 just to be informed on the morning of 2 March 2023 that I doesn’t have a reservation and that I should find alertative accommodation.

I have stayed at D’Olyfboom many times before since 2021. I travel regularly to Paarl for business and I enjoyed staying there.

I made and paid for my reservation last week and it was confirmed in writing that my room was reserved and that I can stay the night of the 28th of February as well as the night of the 2nd of March.

The way they tried to sort it out was to try and pass me off to a sub-standard guest house with a much lower rating.

The unacceptable part it that I am a regular guest that most probably booked and paid for my accommodation before the other guests, but they were accommodated and I was kicked out on the street.

Don’t stay there, you might pay just to be told that you are no longer booked and welcome at their establishment.

Loved my stay! Beautiful room, beautiful view en really delicious breakfast every day with the most friendly staff. Will definitely be back! The location was also very central , very close to the school we had to visit and not too far to visit some wine farms in Franschoek and Stellenbosch!

My husband and I had a wonderful stay at this lovely little place. Debbie was so lovely and accommodating and always on the ball! The location is great, in the town itself but well off the main road - you feel like you are somewhere else entirely. The rooms are beautifully decorated and boast exceptional views, but we found our room a little on the cold side. The bed was soft and super comfortable, and all-in-all we and a really great stay.

If you into cleanliness like I am, finding baby centipedes in my room is a no no. This is what I experienced in my week of stay here. It seems like the vacuuming of the room is not is done regularly.
Sorry, I will not stay here again.

Also, the lady that received me was not polite when I met here, she arrived late and expected m me know that I should have waited before entering the premises. This was also a security risk for me.

I had a great stay at d'Olyfboom Guest House. The staff are very friendly and helpful, and it was a very welcoming place. For example, I received a nice welcome letter when I checked.

A major bonus is the view that you have of the surrounding mountains and the vineyard on the premises.

Wow, what an amazing place, the room has everything you need. All you need to take is a fresh set of clothes and a toothbrush. Debbie our hostess was fantastic. We wanted to take the whole room back home with us. Had a lovely swim in the pool. This guest house should get 10/10. It ticks all the boxes. Wished we could have stayed for the breakfast, but had an early flight back home.
