We loved staying at the Leeuwenhof Estate during our roundtrip through The Cape. Nice authentic rooms and a great vibe during the evening at the Leeuwenhof Estate. Definitely would recommend this place to stay as it also offers a great location for any day trips to main sights in and around the Cape Area.

The old wine estate is just a little paradise. Staff is wonderful, dinner was very delicious. The rooms called barnyard are very spacious and well equipped, the pool area is also nice. Only the selection at the breakfast buffet could be more varied.

Beautiful estate with a pool to-die-for. Nice breakfast, but no vegan options...I had written the owners with questions ahead of time, but never received a response. And while the stable rooms are large, the walls are paper-thin and you can hear your neighbors (tv, conversations, blowing noses.)

We stayed at de Leeuwenhof for 2 nights and enjoyed the relaxed atmosphere. They offered a very nice evening on the 31st. Sitting around the fire place, enjoying lovely wine and a braai dinner with homemade salads and live music was perfect.

Over the Christmas period we had a wonderful 10 day stay at De Leeuwenhof Estate. From the time we arrived we were greeted by Tessa, who was so welcoming who personally showed us around. Our rooms were large and well set out, having a fridge and a microwave was an added bonus. A full English breakfast was offered every morning, delicious. A dinner option is available each night and the food was really excellent. All the staff made you feel so relaxed and were very helpful. A definite place to stay when visiting the winelands.

Our stay at the Leeuwenhof was such amazing. Tessa is a great host, also Stefan been always nice. Tessa is a warm-hearted host and does her best that u feel even more comfortable! She was doing her best, to make our stay even more cultural and give us a lot of tips. We just spend a night and this was our failure, we had to spend more night. Amazing rooms, good diner, perfect wine and also Mr. D (we cannot pronounce his name) was an amazing host! We felt very lucky to stay there an will be come back Soon.
