- Wonderful accommodation and gardens in hilly surroundings - Two tours were offered: a meerkat safari and a visit to an ostrich farm - We got a free upgrade to the honeymoon suite - Spacious room, but pretty outdated. Everything functioned well. Only the communication about loadshedding was poor. We had several long interruptions, also unexpected - Excellent laundry service: our wishes (30 degrees and no tumble drying) were accepted - Amazingly friendly staff - Good shower with unlimited hot water and excellent water pressure

Amazing place to stay on our South African road trip, the accommodation was fabulous and no issues with power. Great to meet the ostrich in person and meerkat tour is a must. Enjoyed breakfast and evening meal was ok but not much for veggie daughter but we coped so no big detail. The hosts and staff were great and really nice mid trip stay.

Very disappointed after two previous visits!The dinner which we had so enjoyed previously was now like a canteen meal served at a set time everyone eating together on large tables!No choice of starter or pudding and the main course served buffet style on cold plates -so disappointed -the spa bath didn’t work and they tried (unsuccessfully) to charge us for 4 Ostrich tours which we didn’t have!!Gone backwards since our last visit!!

We went for a recharge and we got one. We asked for a dog friendly place and we got one. Very friendly welcome and departure. Lovely place very clean and quiet. Thank you for your excellent hosting. We will recommend and hopefully have the opportunity to return.

A nice and silent stay at one of the farm cottages close to the Cango caves. Not only the ostriches (big birds for food lovers), also owls for bird lovers enricht the stay. The food was good, the staff excellent. Good not only for an overnight stay but also for a longer stay, to explore the sourrounding attractions and nature. Only the lukewarm geyser prevented to give 100%.

We had a lovely stay at once of the cottages. We enjoyed it very much. The view was lovely, the meerkat tour was amazing and the farm tour was also very nice. We would definitely recommend this place to anyone.

Wow. We wish we had more time to stay. The property we stayed in had beautiful furnishings. The staff were exceptional in customer service. I cannot recommend this place enough. The tours provided were good value for money. We were lucky enough to have Laura, who is the owner’s wife, accompany us on the ostrich tour. She was so informative and provided so much depth to the experience. Thank you!

We had a lovely stay at Berluda. HoneymoonSuite was great and nicely furnitured even with a kitchen. Next to the garden you See many Ostriches. Laura and her Team create a warm family atmosphere throughout our stay and walk the extra mile for their guests. My wife’s forgotten handbag was immediately send to our next Hotel. Many thanks again!!We definitely will come back to Berluda once we are in SA.

We had a fantastic lunch at Berluda for Mother's Day. It was a cold and rainy day so we all sat inside. The food, the decorations, the staff, the management. 10 out of 10!! Food was a choice of 3 starters, buffet for main and 2 choices for dessert. I had the mushroom risotto and the chocolate lava cake. O my word... it felt like a 'fancy' restaurant in Cape Town.
