The personnel was very friendly and the food was good. We expected more from the cabin and the facilities in the cabin and for us it was not a 4 star stay. They could invest in a pool for the hot days.

What a wonderful resort. We really enjoyed the whole experience. The ostrich tour with Zenith was fantastic she was so informative and it was lovely to feed the ostriches. Feeding Shiela was a privilege and a lovely experience. The wild game tour, we enjoyed and was good though not as big as actual Safari resorts. The luxury tents were absolutely superb, as was the food and all of the staff. Keanu, Hayley and the ladies in the restaurant were brilliant. The events outside they organised for us were a great experience, The cargo caves we had booked the adventure trip , when we got there we realised because of our weight and age we just wouldn't be able to complete it. It wasn't an issue as we went on the other tour and found it very enjoyable. Maybe when people book it just to be aware what the adventure tour involves and let them decide!! the picnic was out of this world, Keanu was great taking us there and back and the buffet... I can't commend it enough. Will live in our memories forever. Thank you for a lovely time, and Thank you Jane for putting it all together for us

We made a stop at Chandelier for a lunch and to visit the ostrich farm. Chandelier is a beautiful estate with a very friendly staff. We did a guided visit of the ostrich farm with our guide Zenith, she was the asbolute best guide. She told us so much information about the animals and how she takes care of them with so much passion and knowledge. It brightened our day to be around Zenith. I would recommend to visit this ostrich farm and take the tour. You can tell the animals are being well taken care of by the staff. When you make a visit also take the time to meet Sheila the giraf and feed her some apples. This was also a very special moment for us at Chandelier. Afterwards we had lunch at the restaurant. The food was delicious and fresh. If you have the time deffinitely stop by Chandelier game lodge and ostrich farm!

Certain aspects of this stay were great and some not so. I feel that feeding an 8 year old giraffe a bottle still is unfair and just commercialized. I also felt sorry for the ostrich's in their small pens. I did enjoy the tent set up - however the bed was so hard and uncomfortable made for a restless nights sleep. We all thoroughly enjoyed the dinner up on the mountain waiting for the sun to set. Magnificent views.

We got a guided tour by Zeneth through the ostrich farm. It was amazing, we did not know what to expect at first, but we were pleasantly surprised! Zeneth gave us so much information on the ostriches, that we now realize how great and clever these animals are! Zeneth (our tourguide) made the experience even better, she was able to provide us with so much info and was so passionate, we could not stop listening to her. We had a splendid day!

This is the second time I have visited in a year with family. Second visits are always taken with some trepidation as you hope for, but never are sure of, the same experience. This time we were called a good few days before the visit to inform us that the luxury tents we had stayed at before had taken a hit with high rainfall and local flooding. Although we ended up staying elsewhere, Chandelier still arranged to provide us with the same special outdoor breakfast and Giraffe feeding as if we were the only people there, which we weren't, as the cabins were still full. It was very memorable for my son and his new wife. Thanks Jane, Zeneth and Shiela (the Giraffe)

Although it is very near Oudtshoorn and George, we really felt in the middle of the nature. We had the pleasure of staying in the (luxury and very comfortable!) tents, that have a wonderful view on the mountains surrounding the area. You could also have an encounter with the grazing animals that are walking around there. We also enjoyed our dinner at the lodge, with a special visit of Sheila the giraf!! The staff was very friendly and welcoming, we felt really taken care off. We really enjoyed our stay at the lodge with our three kids( age 6-14-17).

Welcome drink was a great start. We were taken to our accommodation where two antelope were grazing out the back, never experienced anything like it. Dinner was absolutely delicious, especially the ostrich carpaccio. Chef came out and checked all was okay. Excellent food. Early morning game drive was brilliant, our guide was very knowledgeable. Highly recommend

The staff was very welcoming, friendly and accommodating, they treated us exceptionally well. The Luxury tented chalets are lovely with wildcats and nyalas roaming free around you. The food was beyond expectations (try the ostrich fillet) and everything was well-planned. Definitely, a place I won't forget!
