Nice place, however far to drive to town. Interior not stylish nor cosy. Pool on property really small. We didnt find any map or information on what to do or where to go and eat. Everything seems really new but really lacking in comfort

We had a break away due and so happy that we booked at De Zeekoe. The keys were left in the door, the cottage immaculate and we had a peaceful 3 daysThe MEERKAT excursion is a must. Highly recommended.

De Zeekoe is ideally situated. Just outside Oudtshoorn so it's easy to nip into town but on a farm where you would never guess anything is close by. 3 Stone Cottages are furnished with all you would need and it's pretty to look at too! Nothing compares to the view though. Each stoep has its own braai and seating to take in the view (have I mentioned the view?!). A few steps away (by stone path) a plunge pool with its own seating awaits. I can't believe I haven't heard of this place before - it ticks all the boxes.

Originally booked De Zeekoe for 2 nights, but after experienced the Swartberg Pass (and the Hell - if you have a 4x4 - its breathtaking (and adrenaline rush...) we decided to stay one more night. (Buffelsdrift game lodge with there huge SA specials now on - is a must!) Kristy was such a pleasant & down to earth person to deal with & Kevin (maintenance) SO professional & helpful! I can really highly recommend the Stone Cottages (being in the industry myself - you are tend to look for improvements / or how one would do it yourself) But i can honestly say that they have covered everything. Outside braai & inside fireplace - comfortable bedding & the en-suite bathrooms (with shower) are just great! Thank you Kristy & team - you gave a great start to our 10 days holiday! (whenever you are in Robertson / or want to break away - please give me a shout)! Kind regards Heidi & Stiaan (Robertson)
