What can I say? This is my go to place to chill and unwind if I have had a hectic time and my blood pressure tablets may as well be placebos . Been going for the past 7 years and its gets more beautiful every time . The owners are amazing, the kids love the dogs, pool and the walk up the kloof to look for porcupine quills. The perfect place to chill, unwind and catch up on that book you have been trying to finish.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Kranskloof Country Lodge! The cottage had everything that we could possibly need. Of particular note was the great bathroom (with shower and bath with piping hot water and brilliant pressure! Beds were comfortable and the cottage was incredibly snug and warm, even though we did not use the fireplace. We will definitely be back!

It was a wonderful experience. And with the Friendly staff and neat, well equipped units it was a pleasure. Bathrooms and kitchen kind of "antique". This is situated near the Cango Caves and other must see places. We enjoyed it

We more than enjoyed our stay at the Kranskloof Country Lodge! It was the highlight of our four-week trip around the western cape. The lodge is located perfectly with a jump to Oudshoorn and the Cango Caves. The lodge is positioned on a hill which gives a idyllic, peaceful 360 degree view on the nature around you and the town below. The cottages are authentic, minimalistic, clean and cozy. The well-kept facilities have a lovely rustic vibe. Each of the cottages has a braai place waiting to be used. The garden is fantastic and provides a pool to cool down and enjoy the scenic panorama. The hill behind the facilities is perfect for a nice hike (but you should do this on a day when its no too hot and take enough water with you!) - and if you get the opportunity give the little dog (Lalee) some attention. The staff is friendly, competent and diligent.

An affordable overnight in a tranquil farm setting. You will smell the farm and breath in clean country air. Affordable clean accommodation if you want to stay another night without breaking the bank. Close to the Cango Caves amd the Swartberg pass to Prins Albert, or just a nice visit to the Hell if that tickles your fancy. The cottages are spaced far apart to allow you some privacy and if the summer you can catch a dip in the pool.

The hosts were very friendly and the premises is well kept. The cottage we stayed it had an unusual layout and the very basics. The beds were not very comfortable. There is a neighbouring farm where a constant humming sound is generated (day and night) which made it feel like you are staying close to an airport.

We had a fantastic time staying at Kranskloof Country Lodge. It is perfectly situated between Oudtshoorn and The Cango Caves and close to all major attractions in the region. Even in the cold and rain we were able to stay warm in front of the fire place in the kitchen. With views of the mountains and the farm it creates a relaxing atmosphere. If you are looking for true farm style accommodation, this is your place!
