Only stayed one night. Hotel was clean and some staff were very friendly. Parking is not a problem. Breakfast seemed a little limited but was good enough. The bathroom is still a bit outdated with regards to the fittings etc and the swimming pool was not as clear as before. The put-put area also needs some attention for guests who will be staying longer and making use of it. It's good value for money but it needs some attention.

I recently stayed at [Oudtshoorn hotel inn unfortunately experience left much to be desired Upon our 3 pm arrival, there was no one at the reception to welcome us, prompting me to search for assistance. The staff was friendly and eventually helped us, but the initial lack of reception presence was surprising. Although we anticipated a modest stay for a 3-star hotel, our disappointment grew when we entered an unprepared room. Lacking a small fridge, it posed challenges in keeping beverages cool during the summer. The cleanliness of the room fell short of expectations, and the bathroom, devoid of a window or ventilation, felt cramped. Furthermore, the discrepancy in breakfast inclusion was frustrating. We were informed that booking directly with the hotel would have included breakfast, but since we used booking.com, an additional charge of R150 per adult and R75 per child was imposed. Uncertain of the quality, we opted out and explored a delightful local coffee shop instead. In summary, Oudtshoorn hotel inn failed to meet our expectations, particularly in terms of room readiness, amenities, and communication regarding breakfast. Our decision to explore alternatives, such as the charming coffee shop, proved to be a more satisfying choice.

We weren't expecting much and we weren't disappointed !!! We only chose this hotel because it was convenient for one night stopover whilst we visited friends who live opposite the property. The hotel is extremely tired and in need of huge investment. We had ground floor rooms overlooking the pool and gardens. The lock on my sliding patio door was broken and it was almost impossible to secure the door. The room was a good size with two double beds, but the bedding on one looked as if someone had slept in it the night before !! Bedding and towels were all worn and shabby looking. The garden and pool area was basic to say the least and there were a lot of chipped loose tiles around the pool and pathways that all definitely a trip hazard. There were cigarette butts littered everywhere. Crazy golf was very dilapidated and buried under leaves etc. We didn't eat at the hotel so cannot pass comment on the food, but if their standards elsewhere are anything to go by I'm glad we didn't. Receptionist was nice and friendly though, to be honest she was the only positive we could find about the place. Don't bother wasting your money. We couldn't wait to check out the next morning at 7.30 and needless to say we will not be returning.

According to all my searches, this hotel has a three star rating.... HOW I DO NOT KNOW. The reception is incredibly poor. The bar facilities are closed. The elevator is a safety hazard and nearly caused my heart to stop a few times. The corridors smell of old smoke and the rooms of mold and urine. The room overlooked a filthy rooftop and the net curtains were filthy. The toilet did not flush properly and the shower in bath mechanism was completely broken resulting in burnt toes and a frozen head. The duvet is so thin that I shivered through the night as reception did not answer. The "buffet" breakfast was canned fruit with yoghurt, a sausage, macon and a very badly done egg. All in all terrible experience.

Worst experience ever as they have total disregard for their guest. As I write, it's just after 05:00am and I have not slept. My kids have been crying and are now complaining of headaches. There was a party by the hosts right outside our window, it felt like I was in a township tavern the whole night. We came here as a pitstop on the way to Cape Town, I totally regret it. Even after laying a complaint at the front desk, I was told there's nothing they can do.

The beds are very good. The staff are friendly and helpful. The TV is SABC E and some action channel (crap). The wi-fi does NOT exist. There is absolutely no useful wi-fi,so do not come here with that expectation. Our room had clean sheets and the aircon worked good. The reason I rate a two star is the fact that the noise from other people talking, using their bathroom, dragging chairs around the floor etc was so extremely bad, that our useful rest during the night was less than three hours. We wispered to not desturb other people, but we were the only ones here that thought of this. The other people started playing soccer between 05:00 and 06:00 AM right outside our ground floor room. We paid R990/night without eating in. In my experience this was not worth the money.
