We travel a lot - maybe 8 weeks or more a year - staying in all types of accommodation - and this place blew us away! It is simply stunning!
The cabins are superbly fitted out with quality gadgets, remote blinds, aircon etc.... The hot tub is carefully placed so you have lovely views but are completely unoverlooked, the braii and equipment provided are like new! All cars are kept securely at the site entrance - staff transport you to your cabin in "4x4 ATV Golf Carts“. Waking up to wild kudu / springbok as you draw up the blinds is truly special! The place is silent but for the sounds of nature and you really do feel like you have found your own remote corner of the world. BUT that's just one aspect. With a click on your personal radio transmitter, ever smiling Edmore will come and pick you up and take you to your car (if you want to travel) or to the main building where you will find a fully stocked bar, infinity pool, super, relaxing areas and more magnificent views - all supported by hosts Bernadette and Pieter.
As non-Sth Africans, we were a little confused by the "homestay" concept, but what it means here is that Bernadette will provide everything you need for a braii at your cabin - from the wood and lighter to the meat, salad, balsamic sauce.... but if you don't want to braii yourself, they serve "enhanced" versions of the commercial meat and meal products that Landrani Meat Masters supply from their farm to the catering industry. Simple, tasty, healthy food!
If we are ever back in the area, (we live in UK) we will certainly revisit!! It's almost a reason to return to SA!!

Landrani is a special place, a little slice of Karoo heaven. The units and amenities are top notch and we felt like we were staying in 5star graded accommodation and hospitality. Thank you Bernadette & Pierre for going the extra mile, and a special thank you to Edmore for your kindness and special attention. We can't wait to come back.
The meatmaster lamb we could purchase from the lodge has also been the best lamb we have had from the Karoo.
Can't recommend enough. Until we see you again.

The entire experience was unforgettable! From the time we received our booking confirmation, regular communication was shared with all the details needed. On arrival a friendly and professional driver (Edmore) awaited us at the main entrance, and we were transported to the reception in a 4x4 buggy. The narrow trail introduced spectacular mountain views and we made a short stop to look at some of the animals that were roaming around. Our hosts welcomed us with a refreshing drink while allowing time to familiarize ourselves with the venue. Check-in and introduction to the cabin was effortless. The quality and level of detail in the cabin was astonishing, very clean with everything you can imagine on hand. With breathtaking views, stargazing and enjoying the best food contributed to a perfect weekend away. If it is time to just recharge and leave everything behind for a few days, I can strongly recommend Landrani FarmStay. To our hosts Bernadette and Pierre, thank you for the professional but friendly way you do what you do best and for making us feel part of the Landrani family.

The attention to detail is extraordinary, from the coffee machine to the electronic light switches and blinds, perfectly placed bathtub, LANDRANI is must stay. The staff (especially Edmore) is phenomenal and always ready to help. Do yourself a favor and get a choppie from the fridge and braai every night! This place will see us over and over again

Wonderful weekend away. The modern, and very comfortable, cabin was kitted out with everything we could possibly need and offered wonderful views (no 2) over the mountains with exceptional sunrises, and sunsets. we were able to watch springbok, kudu and sable right from room. The staff were fantastic with exceptional attention to detail from our arrival through to the delivery of wood ice, and bottled water to our cabin at no additional cost. The Lodge is on a working farm and we ordered lamb chops for our braai which were superb. We would definitely recommend this place for a relaxing and rejuvenating weekend.

We loved every minute of our stay at Landrani! The location is remote and beautiful if you’re looking for an escape filled with peace and quiet. The units were spotlessly clean and had a well equipped kitchenette and braai area which we enjoyed every night! The main pool area was a great place to unwind and take in the view.
The staff were unbelievable, from the manager Bernadette to Goodmore the driver who drives you from the main lodge area to your unit and helps with bags. Everyone went over and above to make our stay comfortable and feel welcome!
Our kids were even lucky enough to feed some of the lambs on the farm which was an added bonus. Highly recommend, and hope we get to go back!

I recently enjoyed a fantastic stay at Landrani Luxury Self-Catering Cabin. The cabin is beautifully designed, offering spacious living areas, a fully equipped kitchen, and stunning mountain views from the outdoor deck. Its location is perfect for exploring local attractions like the Cango Caves.
The thoughtful welcome pack from the owners added a special touch to our experience. Whether for a romantic escape or family vacation, Landrani is a perfect retreat. Highly recommended!

The fanatic attention to detail shows that we stayed in a 5 star resort, surrounded by the most beautiful mountain scenery. The service by the group of amazing staff was impecable. Bernadette, Pierre, Johan and Edmore, makes a wonderful team who knows how to make any guest feel special. If you want to spoil yourself with peace and quiet, book a weekend away at Landrani. Every window has a different view of the farm, from the sable and gemsbok to the tiniest Cape hare and sugar birds. It was the most humbling experience, thank you for making it possible by sharing a part of your everyday with us.

Amazing location - our cabin had a nearly 360 view overlooking the Swartberg mountains and surrounding koppies! Loved the spacious bathroom with twin basins, large indoor and outdoor showers and a bath that overlooks the veld. I could look at the kudus grazing while taking a bath. The cabin also has a cozy indoor braai, pellet fireplace, coffee machine and all the kitchen amenities fora few nights' stay. For those not wanting to cook, the lodge offers a restaurant or ready meals to be enjoyed in the cabin - best of both! The staff were so helpful & friendly, and we will for sure be back!
