Detailed Reviews
We wanted to have a relaxing four days on arriving in South Africa and this Lodge exceeded our expectations. The room was comfortable and adequate for our needs and the terrace had views of Chapmans Peak, the beautiful countryside down to the famous beach and overlooked the attractive swimming pool. The hospitality provided was excellent. Frank who is a calm and outstanding hospitality manager looked after our every need. These included booking a range of restaurants for us to enjoy, transport from the airport and to our next destination in Hermanus, booking a rental car and helping us with our SA cell phone . Nothing seemed to be much trouble. All the staff were very friendly and helpful. The Lodge fully met our requirements. We have a lifetime of travelling the world and we have no hesitation in recommending this venue. We had a wonderful day with lunch at Cape Point Vineyards five minutes away by car and perhaps Frank should recommend this to guests.

We absolutely love staying at the Wild Rose. The beds and gardens send you to sleep, the view keeps the wine flowing. Balmy evenings and sparkling morning swims in the pool while looking at the mountain and ocean is glorious. With Silvermines a few kilometers uphill and the Village down the road, there's no reason to leave.
The service is close to invisible unless you stay to chat with Frank the manager, the personality of the lodge! Meals by Veronica always outstanding. Really impressed with the lodge.

An awesome little gem right on our Cape Town doorstep. The establishment has a really cozy environment making one feel immediately at home with the indoor fireplace. The breakfast was also nothing short of first class. Thanks guys!

We had such a wonderful stay at Wild Rose. The Lodge is excellent: Nice big rooms with al the luxury you need, wonderful view, very good breakfast. The location is perfect between Cape Town and Cape Point, making it a perfect base for visiting all the nice spots.
And then there are Michael and Rose, Veronica and Frank: the nicest people you will meet in South-Africa ! They did everything and so much more to make our stay perfect. Thanks !

Travelling solo from out of country and arriving very late at night the owners and facilities manager, Frank were incredibly welcoming and accommodating. The relaxing, engaging atmosphere allowed me to feel immediately at home. The room was very clean and comfortable and the breakfasts incredible. It was a pleasure to return to the lodge at the end of each day. I look forward to my next stay.

We spent two nights at Wild Rose as we had made an invite to our friend’s 50th wedding anniversary an excuse for a weekend away for us. The garden setting is wonderful and the pool area extremely tranquil. The rooms were exceptionally clean and perfectly comfortable with lovely fresh white linen, however, the door is a little tired. A delicious breakfast was served each day. The stairwell is a bit steep for those who do not like climbing up stairs.

Wild Rose Country Lodge is set high on a hillside in the established part of Noordhoek with great views of the beach and surrounding area. The staff go out of their way to be helpful and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay there. The huge thatched lounge area is a perfect place in which to enjoy breakfast. It's well situated, too, a km from the Farm Village.

Perfect location near to great food and live music. The staff were exceptional and adressed all our needs and queries. They were very engaging if needed but not intrusive. A very enjoyable stay at Wild Rose. The staff were friendly and a good service at breakfast
The rooms clean and well laid out in a traditional African theme. May need some refurbishment before long. The location is close to excellent beaches and good access to the road network.

Beautiful house in a beautiful location with fantastic views. We had room number 7 and it seemed to be the least room in the hotel. It could use a little love here and there. But overall OK. Nice breakfast friendly staff. Swimming pool looks a bit strange and unattractive with the gray coating but is otherwise fine.
