We were greeted warmly by Ursula & André Haeberli, our hosts for the next 12 days. Our room was Frangipani (the name of an exotic plant), medium size with ensuite bath and absolutely quiet. The place is very clean and the house spacious, the gardens cheerful. Since it was warmer than anticipated, a dip in the pool brought some relief. The breakfast was delicious and prepared with love - daily fruit plate with at least 12 exotic fruits to taste, yoghurt, cheese, ham, croissants and hearty whole wheat bread with butter and 3 yummie home-made jams and very good coffee. What a great start into a new day. Our hosts were very supporting helping us to find our way around in Capetown, organize daytrips to the wineland with winetasting of course, to the Cape of Good Hope and Boulder Beach with the African Pinguins, the Table Mountain and the beautiful waterfront. They accompanied us to the Saturday Woodstock Market doing groceries where we had fresh oysters and champagne. André organized us a daytrip for a Safari as well and a trip to the endless beaches, recommended the best restaurants, mainly serving seafood called us finally the taxi to take us to the Airport at 6 am on Febr 8. We could not have wished for a better place to stay. Thank you Ursula & André - you made our trip eventful.

You will love it here! We stayed in the largest of the three rooms -- it was spacious and immaculate! The warm bed covers kept us nice and toasty -- a plus, since we visited during the winter season. The Milnerton location was excellent -- quiet, safe, and very walkable -- close to beach, eateries, transportation and grocery store. We were without a car, but the MyCiti bus route was just a few blocks away -- a HUGE bonus! Our hosts supplied the bus cards and schedules. All we had to do was replenish the funds to cover our daily trips. Worked like a charm! The grounds were beautifully landscaped. There’s an enclosed patio with a tranquil view of the birdfeeder, garden and pool. Our hosts, Andre and Ursula, were MOST gracious! Despite surprising them by showing up a day early (I'd screwed up the arrival date), they greeted us warmly and welcomed us in! They gave us a little walking tour of the area, to give us an orientation to the area. They also supplied maps, brochures, and recommendations for activities and sights according to our tastes. My husband even took advantage of Ursula’s in-home hair salon business and got a neat haircut! Towards the end of our stay, our hosts took us on a guided day tour. First, the Biscuit Mill in Woodstock – which has a WONDERFUL open market for food and crafts. LOVED it! Afterwards, we got a scenic view from atop Signal Hill. Our favorite part was watching the paragliders take a running start, pick up speed and then jump off the side of the mountain into thin air! We ended by treating them to a late lunch by the seaside in Camps Bay – a SPECTACULAR view – and a VERY enjoyable day’s outing! The only drawback to the stay was that the wifi access was often spotty. Andre added a signal extender, but you still had to find just the right spot to get a signal. No signal in the bedroom at all, only from the patio. But the positives far outweighed this minor inconvenience. We highly recommend Cape Hermitage and would definitely stay there again!

We visited with our kids 11 and 13 years old and stayed a total of 9 days. Rooms are nice, very clean and the hosts are very friendly. We received great tips for wineries, wakeboard-park and received many other ideas for day trips or shopping sprees. No matter if single, couple or family you cant go wrong staying with Andre & Ursula.

As soon as you arrive, you know you are in great hands! The entire house is immaculate and beautiful! The rooms are very comfortable and tastefully decorated. Every Morning we looked forward to the fantastic Breakfast! The hosts are very friendly and helpful. The area is safe and not too far from the city area. Overall, we definitely recommend this BnB 100%. You will have no regrets! But a peaceful and unforgettable stay! Enjoy!
