Lovely property with awesome views. Check in was smooth. Room
Had all the amenities though it has an open bathroom. Lovely decor and beautiful views of the town and the golf course. Very peaceful and serene.

Now for the bad part and I wish it wasn’t there because then the stay would have been perfect. The breakfast was really pathetic with very very few options. When we asked the server if an omelet could be made, the answer was that it will take time, said in a manner that dissuaded us totally from ordering it. Considering that it’s a beautiful property, this was really a downer!

We were very disappointed and will not be returning. No general bar facilities, no ice, zero effort for detail, faulty gate remote, warm juice on arrival, cheap outside furniture with broken sun loungers in full view at the pool.

We are currently staying here, the views are amazing best here by far. The rooms are a nice size. Feel like they need a bit more atmosphere in the hotel make more of the bar and lounge area, maybe some nice garden furniture to enjoy the views.
Wifi is only in the dinning area and reception.
But overall having a lovely stay, the staff are great...

We stayed in this facility for two nights and spent new year’s eve there. The facility is very hard to find, we couldn’t find it on any map and not talking about the sign guide inside the gated area where the lodge is located , it was almost impossible for us to get there. We felt very safe but not very comfortable the pool was dirty and the breakfast was not suitable with the price we paid for. Staff mostly absent but friendly. No WiFi in the room and a poor connection in the lobby.

15 minutes slow drive out of Knysna central, beautifully situated. Clean and tidy room as well as bathroom. Must be said though for the price we paid we were disappointed with both the service as well as the amenities of the lodge. No bar fridge in the room (it's the garden route), limited privateness in the room with no balcony dividers and see through white curtains so your neighbors can walk past your shared balcony and see into your room. No phone in the room to contact reception, which meant a walk to reception and no one was ever manning the front desk. It's the height of summer and we were told we cannot swim in the pool at the lodge as they had just put in chemicals (why not do this at night or even early morning). Lastly breakfast was served with one breakfast served and the other one arriving ten minutes later, both without toast and eggs completely undercooked. When we asked where is the toast we were told they are using an old toaster and it takes time. Has SO much potential with minor changes needed. Left a bitter end to our stay.

First the good: friendly staff and nice views.
Unfortunately everything is in dire need of renovation or at the very least, a minimal amount of maintenance and cleaning.
The pool was full of dirt. The carpet in the room had a musty, moldy smell.
The pool table in the game room was practically unplayable.
We ended up skipping breakfast - did not look very inviting.
The pictures on Google maps and other platforms are deceiving - the images don't reveal that everything is very run down. We stayed during high season and the price was low compared to other places. Now we know why.

Great reception on arrival. The most friendly and helpfull staff. Rooms are very clean. Food is good. Will definitely go back. Not a huge variety of drinks. The most beautiful sunset views you can find.
