This guesthouse is a very lovely and cozy place. The furnishing is really nice and the room we've had was very cozy. The pool area is very relaxing and you have a nice view of the lagoon and the western head! The breakfast is okay, getting a bit boring after a while, but the quality is good. Sarah, our host, is a very friendly and helpful person. We can definitely recommend staying at this guesthouse! The rates are more than appropriate!

Sarah, who runs Bollard Bay House on Leisure Isle, was very friendly and very very helpful and nothing was too much trouble for her. We stayed an extra night and loved it all so much that we have booked for 2018 already ! Cynthia cooked us the best poached eggs we have had and with 2 swimming pools and very tastefully furnished apartments we were in absolute heaven. The whole atmosphere was just so very nice and friendly and we loved every moment. Thank you Sarah. There is so much to do at Knysna and it is a lovely place.

Came across Bollards Bay B and B last year and had a look around. We find it wonderful, well priced, very well run and excellent food. Sitting on the patio in the evening overlooking the bay watching the sun go down with a glass of in house wine "makes" the holiday. Finally the owner Sarah, makes you feel so welcome.

Sarahis the owners' mother, is very welcoming and showed us round the house, honesty bar, pool etc and then left for her own house which is nearby. It was nice and peaceful though a little too cold to swim in the lovely pool in the front. There is another pool in the back if you don't like being seen by walkers passing by! Breakfast was fabulous and cooked to order. Sarah also gave us some good tips on places to eat nearby. Nice touch to have the self serve Nespresso machine so no complaints about the coffee. We had no problems with wifi, so maybe the router mentioned by another reviewer has been updatee.

We treated ourselves to one night at Bollard Bay and at R1800 it was a treat. The house itself is beautifully situated on Bollard Bay and most of the rooms have amazing views towards the Heads. The room we had was well equipped apart from not having air conditioning and it was a hot day, the fan above the main ceiling light was inadequate to provide relief from the heat and a Guesthouse at this level should really have air conditioning. Sarah the Owner was a most gracious host and we felt well looked after. Unfortunately the Wifi was not working, apparently a new router was to be installed. We enjoyed a lovely breakfast on the back verandah. One or two things need to be done and I am sure Bollard Bay House will be an amazing Guesthouse.
