The facilities are modern and well maintained. We had a spacious comfortable room. The house is in a quiet, safe suburb Our host, Mike, was very kind and helpful and made good recommendations. Staff members were friendly. The breakfast was superb.

We had a great stay at Bollard Bay House. Our room had a beautiful view, which added to the overall experience. The service was exceptional, and Mike was incredibly helpful. He provided us with a lot of information about the area and recommended activities and restaurants. Overall, we had a wonderful stay.

What an amazing property, with tastefully done room and a stunning view to go with it. It was a pleasure meeting and interacting with our lovely host Mike who regaled us with his stories and took care of us always with a smile . The breakfast was delicious. I would love to come back again and stay with such a lovely host.

It is always a treat when we stay at Bollard Bay House. It is has the best location in Knysna, superb rooms and a great breakfast. The manager, Mike, is a wonderful host, friendly and is knowledgeable about the many activities Knysna has to offer. Would definitely recommend Bollard Bay House to anyone that wants to spend some time Knysna on their own or with family and friends.

This is as good as it gets - stunning location over Indian Ocean lagoon, lovely rooms, two pools, superb breakfast, perfect host. Ideal location on the island for walks, safe swimming and very close to the small town and its waterfront. We were due to stay a day, stayed three. So, so relaxing.....

My partner and I stayed here for three nights along our garden route trip and I have to say it was by far, the best guesthouse we stayed at! The absolutely gorgeous views across Knysna Lagoon, the spacious, bright, clean room, the great breakfast and the welcoming, kind advice of Mike, the owner of the guesthouse were all top notch. Couldn’t have asked for a better stay!

Lovely guesthouse overlooking the water on Leisure Island. Mike was very welcoming and extremely helpful to make sure we made the best use of our short time in Knysna. Lovely suite, safe and secure with fabulous breakfast. Thanks to Beverley from Unspoilt Africa for finding this little gem!

Michael & Sarah are the best hosts in any guest house we stay at. The welcome feel here is like home from home. Clean, great rooms, the most beautiful setting and wonderful breakfasts. Wouldn’t stay anywhere else in this town.

Staying at Bollard Bay House was just awesome. Mike is such a gracious host and made us feel like family. We stayed in a double room with a sea view. Extra large comfy bed. Large bathroom with a bath and shower. Tea making facilities and small fridge. Beautiful view on the lagoon and 2 sparkling pools to enjoy. Breakfast was plentiful and well prepared. Would definitely stay at Bollard Bay House again.

We had a wonderful time at Bollard Bay House. It's located at a stunnig beach at the lagoon. The perfect stay for some easy going days. The hosts are really kind, nice and so heartfelt. We enjoyed it very much and will come back again.
