What an amazing property, with tastefully done room and a stunning view to go with it. It was a pleasure meeting and interacting with our lovely host Mike who regaled us with his stories and took care of us always with a smile . The breakfast was delicious. Wow, just wow.....our stay for 5 nights here was literally perfect! Mike is a fabulous host, a spacious room with views over the lagoon and lovely pool and garden areas. Breakfast is copious with fresh fruit and a wide range of cooked options. The honesty bar is a plus to enjoy a sundowner with gorgeous views. Will definitely return to this gem.

We thoroughly enjoyed our short stay so have booked to return for longer next year! This probably tells you all you need to know (!) ... but to make the review more helpful ... We were given a genuine and warm welcome by Sarah and Mike on our arrival and an efficient short guide of the amenities, which was helpful! There is an Honesty Bar, which is a thoughtful offering, so if you fancy a cool G&T or a Beer after a long drive you can help yourself! The rooms are lovely and spacious and the bathroom + shower (Heron Suite) is perfect, with beautiful, peaceful and tranquil views across the Lagoon. Two rooms at this property enjoy views across the lovely pool and rear garden, and the majority enjoy views across the second pool and the Lagoon to the front of the very peaceful and safe Leisure Isle. The breakfast is delicious and well managed by Cynthia and Team and we'd like to thank her for making sure we had everything we needed. Mike and Sarah were very helpful with suggestions for local restaurants for evening dinner, we tried Nonnu's which was lovely (great food, service and ambience!). There are plenty of outdoor activities to enjoy on and around Leisure Isle, with a Golf Driving Range just down the road, and the option to hire Kayaks nearby if you prefer to get out on the water! Our Hosts could not have been more friendly and we thoroughly enjoyed their company and were sad to leave ... so we re-booked for 2024 before departing :-) If you choose Bollards Bay you will not be disappointed! The facilities are modern and well maintained. We had a spacious comfortable room. The house is in a quiet, safe suburb Our host, Mike, was very kind and helpful and made good recommendations. Staff members were friendly. The breakfast was superb.

It was wonderful stay in your B'n'b. The hosts are lovely and the staff super friendly. Unfortunately it was only for one night, but the next time will stay here longer. There is so many to see around Knysna. The heads, Noezi, to drive the R339 ist a kind of adventure I enjoyed the last time.

Mike is a lovely host and made our stay very comfortable. Leisure Isle is a hidden gem and we thoroughly enjoyed its relaxed atmosphere and wonderful scenery. Bollard Bay House is in a great location on the isle and everywhere seems to be an easy walk. We have already made our reservation for next year!

We came for a three day stay and everything was perfect. Mike was so welcoming and helpful and the room was large, clean and airy. Breakfasts were real treats with a fab selection of everything you could want. The location is second to none, with views over the water. Knysna is a beautiful place to visit and Mike's will be our choice if we can ever return.

Amazing location right next to the Knysna lagoon. Breakfast served daily by friendly hosts and staff. The whole of Leisure Isle is easy to explore on foot, and the beach and lagoon are beautiful all year round.

Leisure Isle is awesome.....we actually just wanted to do some sight seeing and ended staying over.....spur of the moment .The location is stunning with a great view....rooms are spacious and clean....breakfast was fabulous !

What a wonderful stay with lovely hosts, amazing views and a yummmm breakfast. The welcome was warm with the lovely honesty bar to have a late afternoon white wine spritzer. Beautiful white linen and a room with a view to the one of two pools.
