Bridgewater was one of the nicest B&Bs that we have stayed at till date. It was a plush white home with a nice front garden, small pool and was a resort like property in itself. We had the room on the first floor with a balcony and great views of Knysna lagoon to wake up to. While it was eery to walk to main part of town, but it was not very unsafe. Breakfast was quite good with omelette, toast and tea/coffee. The hospitality of Lyn was quite amazing and she even pointed us to Birds of Eden which we really loved. Must stay place during your trip to Garden Route. It was a nice anchor point for our day trip to Outsdhoorn as well. Will recommend Kontours for the day trip.

Really felt like a home and not a B&B. All staff were great. Lyn is world class, helping guests settle in and plan activities for the stay. Rooms are comfortable and clean, communal kitchen with an honestly fridge. Deck and pool overlooking the Knysna Lagoon. Walking distance to waterfront and multiple restaurants. Breakfast was great, too. I won't stay anywhere else in Knysna.

I wish I could give 5/5 but being on the N2 main road is a negative. Otherwise everything is perfect. The room we have is very well appointed and I love the luxury bedding. Breakfast is five star. There is an extremely well stocked honesty fridge in the kitchen plus another fridge for the use of guests. Tea and coffee are available in the comfy lounge at all times. An added bonus is that Bridgewater is within walking distance of the waterfront where there are more than enough shops and restaurants. I would love to see the gardens when there are no water restrictions. Congratulations to the owners on a perfect B&B.

We fully support all the other excellent reviews- Pat and Lyn could not have been more helpful and spent a lot of time with each guest at breakfast helping them to plan their day. Fantastic suggestions, maps/leaflets provided and they were very happy to make bookings etc. Lovely reception room available for guests use. We had a room at the back which was huge and very quiet. Good location for walking to restaurants in the eve. Overall, fantastic value for money.

We stayed in Bridgewater B&B for two nights. We had two courtyard rooms which were very nicely decorated and a good size for our party. The rooms were fully equipped-tea and coffee facilities, tv, hair dryer and safes. Bathrooms are very nice and look new. The communal guest facilities are stunning and have a great view over the lagoon. Breakfast was amazing-all cooked to order and fabulous quality. Pay and Lynn are fabulous hosts-lots of local knowledge and great recommendations for visiting and eating.

Located on the edge of a lagoon the views are fantastic. The owners are so helpful and take every opportunity to help you plan your day. Breakfast must be experienced to be appreciated, it is fantastic to sit eating great food looking over the lagoon.

We had 2 nights here, and really enjoyed our stay. We had a room facing the road, and although there was a bit of traffic noise it wasn't a problem to us. The accommodation is ideally located, and the owners are really helpful and informative. Also nice breakfast. We would definitely stay here again

We stayed here for 3 nights, and we loved it. We had one of the garden rooms which was ideal as we travelled as a family, so there was a double bed then in a separate room there where twin beds. Pat and Lynne are fantastic hosts, nothing is too much trouble, and every morning they would give us advice on what was best to do in the area, along with maps and books to help you decide. The location is ideal, just a 10 minute walk from the harbour which has plenty of restaurant's to choose from. The rooms are spotlessly clean, the bathroom is a tad small, but it is more than adequate. The breakfast is lovely with plenty to choose from, they set you up for the day ahead. We didn't use the pool but it was cleaned daily and the grounds are kept immaculate. We will definitely be going back.

Can't remember how many times we have stayed at Bridgewater and now it feels like home. Lynn and Pat are such patient and helpful people. They make suggestions for things to do in the area and give information how to get there. I have even heard them making bookings at other accommodation for people who really should do it themselves. That is anove and beyond the call of duty. We will be back.
