This is a very very comfortable boutique hotel where it’s clear from the outset, your comfort is ‘the mission’. The hotel is located about 10 mins from the Knysna waterfront area, but our hosts Mark, Adele and their team ensured that a pretty much bespoke taxi service was available anytime we asked. Our room was luxuriously appointed and enjoyed a beautiful garden view. Breakfast was fresh and served with a smile and friendly catch up. We had a million questions re our visit to SA and Mark and Lisel (apologies if I misspelt that) knew everything and arranged restaurant bookings and a fab sunset cruise around the lagoon on a plush Cat with braai. We loved SA and this boutique hotel, the first of several on this trip, is very highly recommended. Thank You

Absolutely amazing experience from the moment you walk in to the moment you check out. Nothing is ever to much for them and they are always their to help and assist with anything. The outside area is amazing to sit around a fire and have a nice drink and chat between each other. Everything is just spectacular

Wow - What an amazing place. The whole experience went beyond our expectations. The staff were so helpful and friendly and were happy to recommend restaurants etc, nothing was too much. The lovely gardens with a heated swimming pool was relaxing after a days sightseeing as was the bar/seating area which had the best views of the Knysna Heads you could hope for. The rooms were ultra modern with plenty personal touches and ours had a super deck overlooking the pool. The breakfast was served to your table, and as well as a continental selection a choice of cooked -( sweet and savoury) was offered - and all outside under a canopy/terrace.

A great boutique hotel with heated pool, perched on the hill and overlooking the lagoon. The hotel is great, but what really makes it special are Mark and Adele, the owners. They are good, old fashioned host, from the days when host wanted you to be happy and to come back, regardless of the likes and of social media feedback, the very ethos of the perfect hotelier in my book!

We were fortunate enough to stay in the Diamond suite! It was bigger than our flat, with awesome views and a lovely private outdoor seating area. It really was such a treat. Thanks to whole team were super friendly and helpful and treated us like royalty!

Mark and Adelle hosted the parents, coaches and boys for a burger night on our cricket tour to to Knysna. It was an absolute privelege to experience their incredible venue that they have built up over the years. The kids had great fun swimming in the heated pool while we sat around the fire at their boma before enjoying some tasty Wagyu burgers. The view over the Knysna lagoon is something to behold that no picture can do justice.

We loved every minute of our stay at this beautiful home with is amazing views, and friendly staff where Mark and team have thought of everything. Also, Mark not only provided recommendations for the best carrot cake and oysters but also provided us with directions and tips for stop offs on our long drive to Franschoek which were absolutely on point fabulous! We will most definitely be back.
