We stayed at Kanonkop for 3 nights Whilst we played golf in the surrounding area. The room is large and spacious with an en suite bathroom that has magnificent views over the Knysna Lagoon. Wonderful changing scenes with the low and night tides. The breakfast is good and as the weather was kind it was served alfresco. The gardens are beautiful and the general assistant, Gibson, does an amazing job in and around the beautiful home. Use the local taxi service to take you to the various restaurants available in town. Sue and Chris Conyers will always be remembered in that home.

Dear Stephnea2013 Many thanks for the wonderful review. We are pleased that you had fond memories of Chris and Sue. You are correct in that the view from Paradise is wonderful and you can watch how the tides change and this really adds to the tranquil atmosphere of our beautiful guest house. We hope you will visit again soon and you are welcome to book some more golf if you enjoy a game or two. If not, we can most certainly give you recommendations of so many activities to do in the area. There is something for everybody. Gibson is such an gem and we appreciate all of his kindness and help. We look forward to seeing you again. warm regards Liesl & the Kanonkop House Team

An absolutely wonderful 4 days at Kanonkop Guest House. Probably better described as a boutique hotel. Amazing service, and friendly hostess Liesl very knowledgeable about the area, restaurants and activities. Thank you for the chats! The views are spectacular (from any room). We stayed in the Diamond suite and was an absolute treat. Beautifully decorated with everything you need. The area is quiet and peaceful, just what you need for a relaxing stay. Breakfast was also lovely, inside or outside depending on the weather. Thank you Mark and team for a memorable stay!

I visited Kanonkop with my partner earlier this year and I have never received such incredible service. The staff were so helpful and the owners so warm and welcoming. the attention to detail was amazing and we felt like royalty throughout our stay. The rooms were clean and spacious, the views incredible, the breakfast and snacks were mouth-watering and the gin bar was a really great addition. I cannot recommend Kanonkop enough and would go back anytime
