The location and units were very good.Nice place to relax.Staff very friendly. The only problem we had was that a few dished in the cupboard were not cleaned properly. They still had terrible greasy marks on them. Complained to the duty manager and she said they will spring clean the next day. The next day when we checked the plates it was still not done. Only when we spoke to the maid the next day she cleaned everything.

The beautifull views, friendly staff and great food make this a highly recommended getaway. The hotel and grounds are very well kept and we absolutely fell in love with Belvidere and surrounds! The Bell pub is a must visit, rich in history and cold beer...what more can you ask for.

To the Staff, Management and Owners On behalf of the Executive of the Western Cpae Forestry Sector Forum, I wish to acknowledge and thank the staff, management and owners of Belvidere Hotel. The Forum is a non profit organisation with no external funding. The Executives of the Forum are volunteers representing the interests of Forestry Communities in the Western Cape. The venue for our Exco meeting on 4th December had challenges with COVID-19 requirements and our Deputy Secretary approached the owners of Belvidere Manor. Even though the tourism industry is hard hit by loss of income due to COVID-19, the owners, staff and management were prepared to assist. Not only was the facilities made available immediately at no cost, the owners also provided catering at no cost. You made it possible for us to focus on the matters at hand and we are eternally grateful for your generosity and Spirit of Ubuntu. May you all be blessed eternally. Thank you! Ann Jacobs Chairperson Western Cape Forestry Sector Forum.

I have stayed at Belvedere Manor many times over the years. The cottages are spacious and well equipped should you not want to eat out. The Bell pub is quaint and meals are tasty. Breakfasts on the veranda are a treat as one takes in the view of the lagoon. If a quiet retreat is what you are looking for then Belvedere Manor is for you.

Thank you to belvidere manor for making our stay so enjoyable and allowing us the breakaway to relaxing tranquil place with kids laughing. The kids loved the warm vibe during cold winter days and the milkshakes are out of this world.
