Situated on the Knysna on the Garden Route, Laguna Grove Holiday Rentals are self-catering apartments with spectacular views of the Knysna Lagoon. All apartments are individually owned and decorated with balconies/terraces and BBQ facilities. Each has an open-plan lounge and dining area with flat-screen satellite TV, as well as a fully equipped kitchen. The bathrooms come with a shower and/or a bath. Linen and towels are provided. Liselle was most helpful with parking and with a small problem in the unit which was attended to immediately. Only problem was the second bedroom with very limited cupboard space and nowhere to place a suitcase. One or two shelves in the the cupboard would make a big difference. I will most definitely stay with you in future.

My wife has mobility issues due to multiple sclerosis but Liselle, the office manager ensured that our apartment was suitably equipped to meet my wife's needs. We decided to stay a third night after originally booking two and nothing was too much trouble. The location of Laguna Grove is a short walk to the waterfront restaurants and shops with a lot more other places of interest nearby. I was torn between here and the Protea Hotel when booking and was glad that I opted for Laguna Grove. The apartment was spacious and clean with wifi, DSTV, washer, iron and ironing board etc. A nice patio leading to the lawn and onto the water. Great value for money and great staff. Thanks, hope to return again.

The washer in the main on suite hand basin drain needs replacing to stop water wasteage.
The 2 spot light globes on the stoep area outside the main bed room do not work, the light on the
under balcony does work to which the globes are connected. Neither items effected our stay.

The staff were great, Liselle and Cally looked after us and a very short notice apartment change.
Location is excellent, on the seafront, a stroll away from the shopping centre which is also very good.
The self help arrival is actually very good and informative. It works very well.
I was booking for five people and on a booking website booked an apartment that stated three bedrooms with beds for six but not suitable for five adults. I booked it as more than one of us is small!
The system, apparently, automatically downsized us to a two bed apartment. This was apartment 33. This apartment was quite tired. The flooring, wood laminate, needs replacing. It would fit four comfortably.
I called Liselle and a change was arranged within 30 minutes to a three bed on the ground floor.
So much better much roomier and it felt a whole lot better.
Bedrooms very comfortable, nice bedding, enough blankets and pillows.
Lounge quite spacious, comfortable sofas etc.
Kitchen usable but lacked home comforts. There was just enough cutlery, just enough of everything for the most basic cooking. There was a small, very small, sample size bottle of washing up liquid. This was of good quality. I assume they don’t want the dishwasher used as there was no dishwasher tabs. Come to think of it, there was no dishcloth nor sponge. Hmmmm.
The en-suite bathroom was large but basic, it needs some money spent on the finish.
Parking was simple and there is some covered parking for those lucky enough.
All in all, average, expensive for what it was. I should really have looked on other sites.

We provided dishwasher tabs on request only and supply complimentary start up packs of Coffee, Tea, sugar, salt, pepper, milk and dish washing liquid including dishcloth and sponge. We booked a ground floor apartment looking out over the Knysna lagoon which was idyllic!
The calm water are packed with wildlife and the scenery is amazing.
We arranged our break directly through Liselle in the Laguna Grove front office on site and communications & service could not have been better. Very friendly, helpful & informative. She gave us lots of help with local restaurants & attractions in the area which greatly enhanced our stay.
The Grove apartments are right on the waterfront and are gated & secure with individual parking bays to each property.
This will be our base in Knysna from now on!

Gr8 Stay... Excellent Views.
Needs to Have a Daily cleaning service included or at least provide basics like Toilet paper.
Area between Resort and Restaurant seems not very safe.
Lots of Vagrants begging.
Overall gr8 stay.

Thank you for your review. As we are fully Self Catering we provide a starter pack of toilet paper, coffee, tea, sugar. There are many desperate people begging over season but we do our best to keep our streets safe. This is a problem the world all over has. We are situated next to the Waterfront which becomes very busy therefore encourages vagrants begging.

Laguna Grove is very well located and in walking distance of the Knysna Waterfront. Our apartment was neat and functional. The 2nd bedroom didn’t have any bedside lights and no blinds, just light curtains which didn’t make the room dark enough at night. The parking was very tight. We enjoyed being in close proximity to the water and all the bird life. Unfortunately there are a lot of rats around though. WiFi is limited and the sound quality of the TV was terrible. We also had loadshedding every night and there are no back ups other than a light. Good spot for a stopover for a couple of nights , wouldn’t do longer.

We stayed in Unit 49. This unit was modern and very comfortable with a big open plan kitchen, lounge dining room and three bedroom's.
The apartments are well located next to the Knysna water front. View of the lagoon is stunning. Staff are friendly and accommodating.

The apartment was spacious, neat and fully functional kitchen with all modern appliances you need for a self catering. The stunning views of the lagoon over a braai was breathtaking. We also want to appreciate the host Liselle Walker for being so considerate and have a large inverter in cases of loadshedding, since it was a work trip we were able to easily work without interruptions. I could make it my sceond home away from home.

No hand wash soap provided for use after using toilet.
Very cold, we were told to sleep with most of our clothes on as heating was poor- one small heater for a 3-bedroom apartment.
Electricity main switch kept tripping on use of appliances.
Electricity box: metal wires exposed which were a danger to health & life; we were told to turn electricity on from here as mains kept tripping because of insufficient ampereage.
Additionally, the attitude of the management personnel was an eye opener.
Overall avoidable place.
