We had a view at the Heads. Big room, clean. The breakfast was really good, servid at the balcony. The lady of the house had good tips for us wereld to go. She made reservations for us at the several restaurants, really helpful.

It was very nice to stay at South Villa. The rooms was very nice and the breakfasts was great. We had a lovely time and will recommend for anyone who seeks accomodation in Knysna. The hosts was very friendly and helpfull.

Location at the heart of the tsitsikamma area makes it probably a preferred place at high season when people are less concerned about the quality. It wasn’t even close to what it looks at the website and the public braai area was dirty and with poor facilities. At load shading time they didn’t switch on the generator which was there…..

Stayed one night at the South Villa Guesthouse, enjoyed the stay. Christa and Hentie are great hosts, gave us a nice room with a stunning water view. Room as clean, had all the amenities and a comfortable bed. The breakfast was great, a nice selection of fruits and a personalised breakfast choice of various egg dishes.

We stayed only one night but throughly enjoyed our time at South Villa. The room was lovely and had a beautiful view of the heads. The breakfast is really great. A very good variety to choose from and presentation amazing. We will definitely visit again.

Christa & Hentie were extremely welcoming & helpful hosts - they kindly gave us a few lifts during our stay, and even took us on a lovely scenic tour of Knysna. They helped us plan our days whilst in Knysna and we had a great time as a result. The rooms were very clean and well presented, and the views from the room and dining balconies were stunning. We really enjoyed the breakfast, particularly being able to submit your personalised breakfast choices the day before. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here, and the hosts played a big part of that. We would thoroughly recommend staying here.

Very lovely and welcoming stay in Knysna. We felt very welcomed. Contact for estimated arrival was very easy via WhatsApp. The guesthouse is beautiful and very clean with a wonderful lookout over the bay of Knysna. Thanks for a wonderful stay!

I just returned from a tour of South Africa and cannot express how wonderful our experience was at South Villa Guest House. Christa and Hentie are excellent hosts. Because we had not rented a car, Christa offered to drive us to/from restaurants, and took us on a tour of East Head and of Leisure Island. You can walk to city center from the Guest House, maybe 15minutes. The Guest House is wonderful and offers great views of the Knysna River from the private patio of your room or from the dining room patio. The beds are comfortable, the shower wonderful with all necessities provided. There is coffee/tea and water in each room, along with a mini fridge. Breakfast options are extensive and the food was so tasty and beautifully presented. We spent two days in Knysna but wish we had another couple of days to explore the area more. I would definitely return to this guest house when I return to South Africa (fingers crossed!).…
