Feel at home, free and easy and enjoy a service that does not have to hide behind any 5 star hotel - on the contrary! Best support for restaurant tips, leisure activities and we were always met with a smile. It was so beautiful, right (50 steps away) on the beach of the lagoon. The sunset there was a dream.
Another amazing stay at One on Bollard. Easily the most beautiful guest house with the most attentive hosts. The suites are impossibly perfect in every way, with everything you need. The house itself feels like home, with free wifi, pool and outdoor area available 24/7. The most amazing breakfast served that keeps you full for hours and wanting more. I couldn't imagine staying anywhere else with it being so close to Heorge, Plett and the most beautiful beaches in between. We even joined Rob and Dianne on their daily doggy walk. Truly a home away from home
Don't think twice...book this accomodation, you won't be sorry : ) Hosts have thought and considered guests during their stay paying much attention to detail and guests needs. Hope to visit again soon.
We had the pleasure to stay at the One on Bollard on Leisure Island, Knysna. More than our nice family room did impress us the outstanding service of welcome drinks, recommendations, booking for the evening, breakfeast and personal care from Diane and Rob. Just great and warmly recommended. They even brought us a forgotten jacket to Capetown.
The hosts Diane and Rob were amazing they gave us tips on where to go every day along with incredible discounts at top attraction. Diane also would what’s app the pins so it was easy to find, she booked taxis and always got the perfect table for dinner bookings. The breakfasts were all freshly made and different variety’s every day, they catered to your every need with a personal touch which made you feel welcome and at home. It truly was a trip to remember and we already booked in dates again for next year!
It was our second stay and it was again for us perfect. Very nice, spacious room with a quiet terrasse. The breakfast is extraordinary, nearly everything is homemade. Rob and Diane are very helpful with everything you need, they arrange reservations at restaurants, have a wide knowledge of things to do in Knysna , etc. The price/ performance ratio is outstanding. We will definitely come back .
We spent a week at One on Bollard, and have only complimentary things to say about this establishment. Rob and Diane are very attentive hosts, there is great attention to detail, the food excellent and the staff are wonderful. We will definitely being staying there again during our next visit to Knysna.
We were originally only supposed to stay here for 5 days but extended it to 10 as we loved the guest house, owners and area so much. The breakfasts were amazing and cooked to perfection and the buffet was well stocked too. Rob and Diane were fantastic hosts, suggesting things to do for the day, helping book restaurants and much more. The rooms were of a really high standard and quality and the private garden was an added extra which we loved. This was one of the best places we have ever stayed and we will be back soon.
My husband questioned my reasoning for a one night stay on Leisure Isle but we had a wonderful time. Check-in at One on Bollard was a breeze and after a complimentary gin and tonic (with berries) we were on our way. The room itself met my expectations. It was modern and spacious. What I did not expect was the luxurious bathroom, the nice little outdoor seating area and the large cupboard/room for your baggage. Inside the cupboards we also found an umbrella, beach chairs, beach towels and a cooler box. We brought our own but took note of these extras. Soon we were on our way on the complimentary bikes to explore Leisure Isle. We had a lovely cycle around the island which I thoroughly enjoyed. The guest house is located in close proximity to Bollard beach, which is the perfect beach for those who don't like big waves. Next we used the coffee station in our room for an afternoon coffee. After a shower with the ocean scented shower gel I was ready for the evening. The hosts gave us a tip about a live music concert taking place at a nearby venue and we were off. The next morning the hosts allowed us to use the kayak and we did a trip to Featherbrook nature reserve and back. Quite exciting. Breakfast was a leisurely affair. First we had some baked yogurt with fruit. Baked yogurt? Delish! Then my husband tried the specialist breakfast called Dutch Babies - puffed pancakes with nectarine. My eggs were done to perfections but I have to admit that the Dutch Babies looked like the better choice at that stage. After having a look at the Koi fish at the entrance to the guest house it was time to leave. We had one day at One on Bollard and it was perfect.…
Very good location. The hosts Diane and Rob were simply marvelous. Great sense of humor too. Place is very clean and all amenities are offered. Close to the beach and safe and secure parking. I would definitely stay here again.
