We enjoyed The Bloem for one week. Bianca (owner) and her staff guarantee that this 5star Guest House will no. 1 on the list for future stays. The rooms are perfectly well equipped, the breakfast is wonderful, the service of any staff member friendly & efficient. Golfers are treated well as The Bloem is well connected with all courses of the area. We also enjoyed restaurant recommendations. Parking just in front of the lodge is very comfortable and well monitored at night. We always felt save.

We stayed here as a halfway house driving the Garden Route from Cape Town to Port Elizabeth. Coming from a large hotel to a guest house such as this one, we immediately felt the friendly welcome and a much more personal and attentive approach. The rooms were immaculate, clean and bright with a lovely view looking out over the lagoon. Breakfast was served to our room each morning and was very tasty with lovely fresh fruit, bread and eggs served to our liking. A nice turndown service every night with the weather reports for the next day and different chocolates. A drinks hour too with an honesty bar outside of these times - all little things that added up to a great stay.
The staff were ever so keen to please and we felt they were looking out for us, from greeting us on our return to seeing us off when we would head out. If we were to ever visit Knysna again, we’d be sure to stay in Thebloem again. We can’t recommend it highly enough.

TheBloem, what can you say about a hotel like this? If I could, I would give it 7 stars.
I have rarely experienced such great service, such a beautiful room with such a breathtaking view over Knysna.
Unfortunately, we were only there for 3 nights. It is not cheap, but the price-performance ratio is really good. When you arrive, you are greeted warmly in the car park and everything is discussed over a delicious welcome drink.
The room is a real gem, we would book Suite 4 again and again. Breathtaking view over the whole of Knysna. Super nice, stylish room with a large bed and bathtub.
Breakfast: you can say the evening before what you want and where you would like to have breakfast. Whether in the common area or on your own terrace. We naturally chose our own terrace. In the morning, at exactly the right time, two ladies come to wipe the table clean, set the place settings and then serve breakfast.
The ladies are wonderfully helpful and always "available". You really aren't allowed to do anything yourself, carry anything out of the car... someone is always there to help.

Everything about our stay was perfect. The staff were so friendly, attentive and helpful. Our perfect hosts Bianca and Rossano ensured that we were well taken care of and even arranged a top dinner reservation for us at a popular and very busy restaurant at the last minute. Needless to say we had brilliant service at this restaurant. The Bloem itself is perfectly situated, beautifully appointed and has the most incredible views of Kynsna. Our room was amazing, with the most comfortable bed and sofa, and the best shower we have ever experienced. Attention to detail is not lacking at The Bloem. Thank you, we look forward to returning.

The Bloem guest suites welcome you in a very warm and personal manner so that you feel immediately very welcome when arriving. The suites are just wonderful equipped with every comfort and small welcome attentions and gifts. The staff is beyond friendly and most attentive whatever you may ask for. Breakfast is very good, fulfilling all individual requests. The Bloem suites are highly recommended for a stay in Knysna ! We just loved it !

Where to begin….we stayed for 3 nights as a family of four and it was absolutely amazing. The staff, attention to detail, accommodation, food, setting…all of it outstanding. What makes this place unique is the magic touches from all the team. Never have I felt so welcomed and special at a hotel. It’s intimate 5 suites allows for peace and quiet but your just a few mins drive from the main parts of Knysna. Special thanks to all of the team, especially Jossey, Bianca, Constance and Vivu (sorry that I’ve spelt that wrong…you will always be the best scrambled egg maker EVER!), and Lovemore, you and the team work incredibly hard to make everyone’s stay so memorable and special. We will most definitely be back and honestly can’t recommend this place enough!

THEBLOEM is total perfection in every aspect. The rooms are well appointed and immaculately maintained. Each room has a personal outdoor area with a panoramic view of the Knysna Lagoon. The public areas of the hotel are spacious, tastefully decorated and have a relaxing atmosphere. The owners are a delight, as is the courteous professional staff. This is a wonderful place to enjoy the surroundings of Knysna, or just a quiet spot for a romantic stay or a place to work on creative projects. The breakfasts are among the best we have ever encountered in all of our travels.

Amazing stay! This really is a 5 star property. The hotel and rooms are beautifully appointed with excellent attention to detail. The staff are incredibly well trained, always available and listen to what we might need and anticipate our requirements. We are going to the beach and got offered two chairs and a sun umbrella without even asking. It is spotlessly clean and the bed linen to die for. Bianca met us every morning to ask if we needed anything else before we set off for the day ( she gave us maps for touring around the area). I would not stay anywhere else after this marvelous experience, even having stayed on Thesen Island many times. The views are to die for looking out over the lagoon and The Heads. Stay here, you will not be disappointed…

We had the privilege to be the first post-COVID guests at this beautiful oasis, which is very well prepared for the return of guests. Everything is very modern, stylish and well selected.
