What a lovely little place. We stayed in a standard cottage, but we had more than we needed. Amazing lawn just outside for the children to play on. A wonderful fireplace to cozy up at night. The thing that surprised me the most was that we did not have 1 bug inside our cottage and since it is situated on the edge of the forest this was shockingly wonderful! I mean there was even a hot water bottle and coloring books. And very very important there was a coffee plunger. The swimming pool is very well kept and so is the jungle gym, i was impressed. Although there is a dirt road to get to the place, it was totally doable with out Getz and definitely worth it for the peace and quiet. I would definitely recommend this place for a family wanting a bit of a break. Drupkelders walking route is just outside the gate (just need to get your permit) and the other walking routes (like Jubilee Creek) are literally up the road. It is absolutely amazing to just get back to nature and peace and quiet.

Immaculate, clean, attention to detail. The air is so clean you can drink it. Quiet and beautiful. Incredible walks in the forest and to swim in the river. Close enough to the towns surrounding to eat out, explore the area and then return for a peaceful nights sleep.

What a lovely tranquil setting - we enjoyed every moment, thank you My only recommendation would be - I travelled with an elderly family member with mobility challenges - the little loose mats is a fall risk to consider - we removed all while we were there. The rest was just a lovely haven of joy

We enjoyed a romantic anniversary in Fairyden and could imagine nowhere better. The cottage was immaculate, cozy, and well-equipped, with added spoils for our celebration. What a treat to be in such a peaceful setting just around the corner from historical forest walks and sites.
