From our arrival, our stay there was very special...the Manager on duty arranged a special 35th Anniversary message card with closer decorations and the place was well prepared and very quiet. Breakfast was also great and well done!! Will definitely go back there again..

Stayed here for 3 nights over Christmas. The manager Renee offered nothing but the best service all the time. The staff members were very friendly. Rooms, gardens and pool were kept clean all the time. Breakfast was always a wonderful experience as extra effort was always put into setting up the table to accommodate our 2 little girls. This place is highly recommended if you are looking for a quite and peaceful B&b to unwind.

We loved our stay at House on Westcliff. The property exceeded our expectations and was far nicer than on the pictures. It is located 3 minutes from the New Harbor and just 2 minutes walk to the cliff path. The room was spacious, nicely decorated and very clean. Beds were very comfy. Updated bathroom was nice with great water pressure. The pool and garden areas are very tranquil and relaxing. We paid extra for the full English Breakfast and it was really tasty and extremely affordable. This 4 star guesthouse was great value for money and we will definitely be back!

Thank you for the beautiful surrounds and delicious breakfast you made for Sharon and I. I own a B&B in Melbourne, Australia so I enjoyed comparing notes with how you have set up your lovely rooms and dining room. Thank you for the little touches and I loved it. A great price. The location of the kettle to plug in was a bit unusual. A bit more milk with the room would appreciated.

Lovely stay at House on Westcliff with a warm welcome from Rene. Clean and attractive room, with a great shower, and a homely dining area. Fantastic breakfast, which as we were needing to leave early Rene was happy to arrange 15 mins early. Thank you, would stay again and highly recommend.

We enjoyed a wonderful and peaceful stay at Westcliff. Rene the guest house manager was an awesome host. The staff was very friendly and helpful. We recommend this guest house to everyone looking for a peaceful relaxing experience either in the room or at the pool.

The room was small buit the location was great because not far from the center by car.The swimming pool was unfortunately unavailable. The first welcome was nice but the breakfast was disappointing and the woman serving us not very nice.

House on Westcliffe is a little walk away (15 mins) from the centre of Hermanus and we absolutely loved that fact as it made us take the coastal path (indescribably stunning and meant we saw whales every day we were there!!) into town. It also means it’s 5 mins away from the New Harbour and the restaurants there. We absolutely loved our room - very spacious, clean, beautifully decorated. The staff were really helpful - we needed some laundry done and that was quickly turned around. Breakfasts were simple but perfect every time.

Although we were disappointed that our room with private patio was not what was available through the website, No. 3 was reasonable. On the website there were pictures of a room with large patio offering an alcove kitchen with microwave, two plate stove and large refrigerator. We were not offered this accommdation.
