Bamboo Guest house is an escape, a place to relax and recharge. It feels fresh, calming and is tastefully decorated with everything you would expect from a four star guest house. Carol the owner is a wonderful person, warm, hospitable and made us feel so welcome throughout our stay. The guest house is a short drive or 15 minute walk into town. The rooms are super comfortable and a delight to spent time in. The breakfast was the highlight of the day! A pool and guest lounge just added to the relaxing atmosphere on offer. We really enjoyed our weekend coastal retreat to Hermanus and Bamboo Guest House made it that much better!

The Bamboo Guest House is in a great location where you can walk to the cliffs and path to the city which is just over 10 minutes away. Speaking of location if you're planning on going to the golf course this spot couldn't be more perfect - you simply walk out the back gate and there's the course. It is clean, modern and very comfortable. We had a large room and a beautiful view. Breakfast was very nice and the staff were very friendly and welcoming!

The bamboo is a lovely place. We had a nice room with view and even a balcony towards the sea. Service was superb and the owner was very helpful and kind giving us the best recommendations and even booked us for dinner at her favourite winery. I highly recommend this place. Breakfast was great as well!

This is a lovely boutique guest house with bright, airy rooms which are well appointed. We stayed in room 11 which has a walk in shower with a lovely view. Breakfast is included and there’s a good selection and delicious croissants and beautifully presented cooked food. The pool and outdoor gardens are very nice and it’s a very short walk to Hermanus golf club. Carol, the host, is welcoming and engaging.recommended!
