Stayed in unit 246 had a beautiful view of the ocean and could hear the waves break. My grandson love the grass in front of the unit. Played happily while we where braaing. Unit is modern and has everything one needs including WiFi and an invertor. Felt safe even when walking on the rocks. Staff very friendly. Lovely bar and pool

Worst location for a timeshare! in the middle of a noisy slum township. We left early spent only one night. We did not feel safe walking around the area or on the rocks close to the sea. There were no working amenities except for a small swimming pool.

On pictures it looked reasonable and affordable. Arriving there was major disappointment. Desk no interest, no service. We booked for 6 , before we could check the room money was taken From creditcard. The “bungalow” was dirty, not smelling fresh , completely outdated. We went back to the desk for at least a clean appartement, no interest to do anything. We left shocked immediately.

We enjoyed our little getaway as it was a much needed change of scenery however, the Beach Club does not have the best entrance as you’re welcomed by an informal settlement right as you enter the Beach Club. The house that we stayed in was clean however, the rooms were very small and if you’re visiting in winter it’s extremely cold. Overall interior of the house is very old even though it’s a beach aesthetic there’s much room for improvement. Not much privacy as housekeeping/ maintenance is always busy around the property in one’s personal space. Extra fun amenities such as the games room has extremely old games which could do with some improvement. Putt putt & tennis court could also do with some sort of upgrade. Overall, the best part of the Beach Club is being able to walk down to the beach and enjoy the sweet sound of the waves and fresh air!

The township right up to the entrance is a bit disconcerting. There is strict access control. The accommodation is pleasant and well equipped. It is not recommended to walk out of the resort but it is close to the new harbour and then into the other areas of interest.

An amazing, neat and beautiful 3 Bedroom apartment with an amazing view of the beach. There are 2 communal swimming pools, put-put and tennis courts with a small convenient shop. Close to Hermanus Central. Fully fitted and equipped kitchen with longe area with full satellite TV. And for those cost evenings a little sun room.

Just think twice when you book or buy. This complex is next to a big township zwelihle. During corona the area of the township is getting bigger and bigger :( such a pity because the beach club has amazing views.

Hermanus Beach Club is the perfect spot to stay while you are in Hermanus. It has everything you need including swimming pools, tennis and squash courts, a putt-putt (mini-golf) course, a bar and kiosk, a gym and more, making this perfect for groups of different ages as well as families. Most of the houses and apartments are privately owned and rented out, ensuring you will find accommodation within your price range, with the most expensive options being right on the beachfront. There are big open lawns where you can relax, as well as a walking path along the coast. Most of the coastline is smooth rocks, but there are small "beach" like areas where the kids can also play. The resort is very well managed and clean, and all the staff is friendly and helpful. It is important to note that there is an informal settlement right behind the resort, which is not ideal, but the resort itself is very safe - it's surrounded by electric fencing and cameras, and there are security guards on premises 24/7. We had such a great time staying here, hearing the ocean every evening while you sleep and waking up every morning with the beautiful waves (some of the biggest I have ever seen). We were also fortunate enough to see some whales from our stoep, and I have heard that some people have also spotted schools of dolphins pass by. My next trip to Hermanus I will definitely be staying here again.

Stayed for 4 nights, booked unit 216 from the owners via AirBnB. Important to note that not all units are the same, ours was definitely above-average. It was a top-floor unit (3rd floor walk-up) which was not ultra-modern BUT very neat, clean and spacious. Good quality linen and towels, extra pillows and blankets, well-equipped kitchen. One of the few units that has a large rooftop terrace. Indoor fireplace as well as indoor and outdoor barbeque facilities. Boasts unobstructed, panoramic ocean views from the terrace, main living area and main bedroom. No washing machine in the apartment, but there is a self-service laundromat on-site (tokens can be purchased via the machine, but it does not give change). Other amenities include a small convenience shop, swimming pools, games room, tennis courts and putt-putt. This resort is located right next to an informal settlement called Zwelihle and driving through it can be a bit off-putting, but the resort itself is very safe and chilled. The resort is a short drive from central Hermanus and you can easily go to Whale Coast Mall, Station Square or Village Square to shop for anything u may need. The Information Kiosk at Old Harbour Market is really helpful if you want to find out about activities in the area (e.g. hiking, diving, zip-lining, etc). The resort is located on a very rocky part of the coastline. If you want sandy beaches, go to Grotto Beach (about 7km away) - it's an awesome blue-flag beach.
