Stayed there during a quick break to the Garden Route. The best spot ever! Clean, large rooms! So big, you can fit in 4 guests! Had our own balcony, braai and fully fitted kitchen and full bathroom. Good value, considering location, size and features. Cant wait to go back for second visit.

Had a wonderful few nights in unit 4 - wish we could have stayed longer! Room was spacious and immaculate, everything available for a great weekend getaway. Highly recommended, even if the weather is junk! 3 of us stayed comfortably in the room without feeling as though we invaded each others space.

This guest house isn't just a bedroom and a bathroom, but a "HOUSE!!!" on the water/sea with a view of Victoria Bay that's absolutely stunning. Beautiful and modern interior and perfectly decorated. The only thing we missed was air condition.

We recently spent 2 nights in unit 1. We agree that Victoia Bay is wonderful but to be honest the bay seems to have been left in a time warp with most of the accommodation on the bay being dated and pricey in comparison to neighboring Herold Bay (which we found to be equally as beautiful with more rock pools for our children to play in). The apartment has Magnolia paint schemes, 80s decor and furniture and there is an outdated cane double bed in your lounge/dining area. Sorry...but a basic refurb and repaint would do wonders for this apartment as it is such a pity that the decor is so outdated and that it in no way reflects the apartment's amazing seaside location. A possibility to be considered is a high quality foldout couch in the main living area as an outdated cane double bed in the lounge area makes it feel a bit bedsit. I can't speak for the B&B rooms but only apartment one. My advice is to also look at Herold Bay as there is fantastic accommodation right on the waterfront for exactly the same price where you have a more updated, large, light and bright seaside themed apartment and your own BBQ area with wooden outdoor furniture. The owner/manager is pleasant enough but he didn't tell us that the hot water would be turned off on the morning of our departure and this was frustrating as we needed to shower after a morning at the beach before a long road trip. The Wifi also does not work in the apartment and nothing was done to fix it despite our queries every day- this was very frustrating!

I booked unit 7 for three nights not quite knowing where it was located. When we arrived we realized that the unit was not what we were looking for as it had very limited sea views. I spoke to Ian, the owner, who was very accommodating and he offered us an upstairs unit with stunning sea views for two nights. We would have to stay in unit 7 the last night and we had to pay him a difference for the upstairs unit for two nights. The following day he contacted us and informed us that we can stay in the upstairs unit for the final day at no extra cost. This was most appreciated. The unit itself was very spacious and neat with a lovely patio and braai area. The views are stunning! I will definately stay there again. We also appreciated the call we received from Ian after we had left thanking us for staying there. Highly recommended!

If you like the sea, this is the place. Waves crashing on your doorstep. Take a swim and come back for a shower and a cup of tea. The kitchen was perfectly kitted out. Just short of a pillow on the bed.

Could not have wished for a better location. Great service. Spotless. We purposely chose a room downstairs although we were allocated one upstairs. Very , very strange ! The shower was next to the kitchenette which was also a bedroom. The toilet was in the next bedroom. It also had the basin . The desk / dressing table had a window which shone into the bedroom in spite of the blind. Lovely Braai area outside the bedroom door. The headboard came out of the stone age. If you move from the center of the bed you hit it😂. Would go back because of location but stay upstairs

We have been going to Victoria Bay for more than 16 years and this was our first stay at Pier Plesier. It was so awesome that we booked again a week later!! The upstairs family room has the best view and I could sit in my PJ's and take photos of my hubbie surfing from early in the morning to late in the afternoon. The spot is perfect to catch the surfers on camera or to watch the children skateboard down the walk way. Ian , was so helpful and accommodating and our every wish was granted. The rooms are comfortable and clean and the kitchen had everything I needed to either do a fancy meal in the superb oven and a fabulous braai outside which also has a great view of the sea. We will definately go back again and again and again.

My wife and I have stayed at the Pier Pleasier and we both loved the place for its location (right in front of Victoria Bay), a flawless piece of land perfect for surfing or fishing.

The apartment is well equiped from its kitchen, bed and bathroom , and the view for its balcony irá really amazing.

Apart from ALL those pros , we'd like to add the great and friendly approach of Mr. Ian, the host and owner. We noticed that few things that he said and some of his recommendations shows long time experience in his business.

This is our third visit to Pier Plesier. We always stay in an upstairs room which has the best views. The host, Ian, is always accommodating and friendly. The apartments are spotlessly clean with everything you need to make your stay comfortable.
