Detailed Reviews
In a bit of a dodgy area. Breakfast was average. Beds were very comfy and staff were friendly and welcoming. Very clean and has a fan so you weren't too hot at night time. Could do with a little updating but all in all, you get what you pay for and it was a decent stay

We spent 3 nights here, and could not get over this comfortable lodge. The bed was so comfortable, we fell asleep straight away, and this must be the best shower of anywhere that we have stayed. There was tea, coffee and milk, a small fridge and TV in the room, and everything one may want for your stay. You can have breakfast there on request,we did`nt, but was told that it was very nice. So if you are looking for a comfortable, peaceful and relaxed Lodge to stay in, this would be ideal.

Went up to George for a weekend trip and booked at the lodge for two nights. The first night my elderly parents had no hot water in their room which we reported the next morning.
We had a need to cancel our second night booking, so asked at the desk about a refund to which we were told there are no refunds given. I asked to speak to the owner to see if he could accommodate my request which he flat out refused. Even after I pointed out that we were not satisfied with the room having no hot water, which he then basically told me I was a liar and that there was hot water.
So we stayed the second night since it was already paid for, and the next morning my room, as well as another in the lodge, had no hot water. The manager on duty came to the room with me present to confirm there was no hot water, which she then relayed to the owner and only then he then seemed to accept and I was told by the manager he would provide some kind of discount for the inconvenience. Later that day I was called by the manager to say the owner had been around after we left and there was at that stage hot water so he wouldn't be doing any refund. Despite the fact that on both morning the lodge manager that was there and confirmed that there was NO hot water!!!
Disgraceful, and rude conduct by the owner to argue with his customers and be so unwilling to even apologize for the inconvenience, never mind offer to give any sort of voucher or refund.
Unfortunately because of his attitude and response to the issues we had with the rooms I will never recommend Reheifo Lodge to any family, friend or colleagues who may be travelling to that region - and in fact I will advise people to avoid the place!!!

Excellent value for money. Staff very friendly and helpful. The lodge was fully booked the night we stayed there. Rooms are clean and efficiently laid out. Perfect for a minimum stay of 1 or 2 nights.
